  3. -------------------
  4.
  5. >Two. Weeks.
  6. >Two friggin weeks, and you’re still not ready for this blasted concert!
  7. >It was bad enough you missed the actual eclipse, but now it’s looking like you’ll be late to your own postponed party!
  8. >You were just as happy as Rainbow was when Anon decided to stay; but there was work to be done.
  9. >All of your emergency funds had been spent to make sure your employees were paid while the auditorium was being rebuilt.
  10. >The lunar celebration was one of your favorite concerts, and probably the most popular.
  11. >You’d turned down the cruise offer from Luna herself; a decision you thought about regretting, until you remembered why you made it.
  12. >Not much you can do about what has already happened anyways. You’d decided it’d be better to be fashionably late than not have the concert at all.
  13. >Seemed like a good idea at the time, but now you were struggling to meet your own deadline.
  14. >You only had a week left to prepare, then it was showtime. The auditorium had been buzzing with activity since you’d stepped hoof in it again.
  15. >Your employees had gotten a good little vacation, but now it was time to earn their pay.
  16. >Which, brings you back to the now.
  17. >Here you are, one of the most talented DJ’s in Equestria, and you can’t seem to work your own turntables.
  18. >No matter how hard you tried, it just wasn’t the same as you’d had it before.
  19. >You’d made so many little tweaks and adjustments to it before, it’d be impossible to get it straightened out now!
  20. >“Hey Vinyl, how’s this look?”
  21. >Ah, Rainbow Dash. Her and Anon were trying their hardest to help, and you really did appreciate it, but...
  22.
  23. -------------------
  24.
  25. >Well, there are some things you just have to do yourself.
  26. >Sighing, you quietly set a large circuit board you’d been staring at down to see what Rainbow wanted this time.
  27. >Looking up, you found her fiddling with one of the stage lights, trying to do... something with it.
  28. >You couldn’t really tell what she was trying to do.
  29. “Uuuhhh... Looks fine Rainbow!”
  30. >“Are you sure? I think it’s a little off. Whaddya think, Nonny?”
  31. >Your ears twitched with annoyance. You loved these fuckers, and they really were trying to help...
  32. >But you knew there wasn’t anything they could really do to help at this point.
  33. >They didn’t have the experience that you did when it came to your equipment.
  34. >Especially considering, you know, it was your equipment.
  35. >“Errr, I dunno Rainbow. It does look kinda off... What do you think, Vinyl?”
  36. >You stood up on your rear legs and put both forehooves on the turntable-in-progress that was in front of you.
  37. >Sighing, you looked up at the light again. It kinda hurt your eyes, but you didn’t really care at this point.
  38. >Trying your best to not let your irritation peek through, you forced a smile.
  39. “I tell you guys what. Why don’t you two take a break, and I’ll take a look at it just as soon as I can, okay?”
  40. >“Come on, Vinyl; you’ve been cooped up here for days! Why don’t you take a break while we get every-”
  41. “NO!” you barked.
  42. >You hadn’t intended to come across so harshly, but your patience was wearing thin.
  43. >Looking down at your hooves in frustration, you sighed.
  44. “No. I’ll take care of it, it’s my auditorium.”
  45.
  46. -------------------
  47.
  48. >You heard the fluttering of wings as Rainbow swooped down; followed by the quiet plop as she landed, presumably next to Anon.
  49. >Shutting your eyes, you awaited the inevitable.
  50. >“Come on Vinyl, just tell us what to do! We gotta be able to help someway, right Anon?”
  51. >The laugh almost made it up. Almost.
  52. >You managed to stifle it away out of frustration, shaking your head instead.
  53. “Look, I really appreciate you guys tryin’ to help, but I’ve got everything from here.”
  54. >“Vinyl, isn’t there something we could d-”
  55. “NO! THERE ISN’T ANYTHING! JUST STOP IT!”
  56. >Realizing you were panting heavily, you sighed yet again and backed off the table before you did something stupid.
  57. >Last thing you needed was to order another part to fiddle with, AGAIN.
  58. “Just... just go, okay?”
  59. >“But Vinyl-”
  60. >“No, Rainbow. She just needs some time to herself is all, right Vinyl?”
  61. >Thank the stars. You silently nodded your head in agreement as you plopped down on the floor.
  62. >Not opening your eyes until you were certain you heard the pair leave, you flopped down on the floor completely.
  63. >Finally, some peace and quiet.
  64. >Maybe now you can get some actual work done without having to watch over those two like a mother goose.
  65. >Of course, this was discovered to be completely and utterly false as you continued to stare at the same damned tangle of wires, expecting something to happen.
  66. >It’s like checking the fridge for something to eat, knowing that no-one had put anything new in it.
  67. >The longer you stared at the mass of wires, plastic, and various metals, the more you started to think about how you overreacted to Anon and Rainbow.
  68.
  69. -------------------
  70.
  71. >It wasn’t their fault, they were only trying to help.
  72. >Twirling a screwdriver with your magic, you solemnly wondered to yourself if they understood the pressure you’d been under recently...
  73. >Maybe you did need to take a little break... Yeah...
  74. >That sounded pretty good about now.
  75. >You could test and see if the bathroom’s tub and hot water were in working order...
  76. >Though, you could just as easily take a nap right here and now.
  77. >The cool floor felt wonderful against you, though you probably looked a bit undignified, strewn out like a rag doll.
  78. >Just as you were about to let your mind wander off to sleep though, you thought of Rainbow and Anon.
  79. >You had been a bit harsh... They knew you were under stress though, right?
  80. >
  81. >
  82. >Right?
  83. >
  84. >Sighing in defeat, you pushed yourself up to a sitting position.
  85. >Well, an awkward push-up was more like it, but still.
  86. >With your goggles somehow still perched on your forehead, you put them on and reveled in the show that was sound.
  87. >Looking at the empty auditorium, you felt a warm string in your heart twinge at the sight.
  88. >It felt good to be back, but you needed to talk to Rainbow and Anon.
  89. >You’d wasted a solid hour or so doing nothing really productive; the least you could do is apologize.
  90. >Watching as your hoofsteps made the only sound in the acoustically constructed auditorium, you slowly made your way to the stairs that led to the upper floors.
  91. >It was a quiet walk, one you were used to making many times before you’d met Anon or Rainbow.
  92. >Now though... This was different. You’d probably upset them or at least pissed them off somehow.
  93.
  94. -------------------
  95.
  96. >At least, that’s what you thought until you heard the noises coming from the doors that were slightly ajar.
  97. >It sounded like some kind of debate before, but now...
  98. >The sounds were so strange to see with your goggles, you took them off to listen instead.
  99. >Quirking your ears to attention, you listened intently.
  100. >Following the noises, you eventually found yourself at the doors to the master bedroom.
  101. >They were ajar just like the door to the suite, but you couldn’t really blame them for not caring since you were the only other pony in the building right now.
  102. >Of course, that made it all the easier to snoop about.
  103. >Taking care to make as little noise as possible, you pushed the door open ever so slightly to get a better view of what was going on.
  104. >You would’ve gasped, but you managed to stuff a hoof in your mouth to muffle it.
  105. >Anon and Rainbow were going at it, right there.
  106. >Rainbow’s wings were flared out completely, her multicolored mane completely disheveled.
  107. >You couldn’t get a good view of Anon’s face but his hands were doing something crazy to Rainbow’s wings.
  108. >The bed creaked and moaned nearly as much as they did.
  109. >Rainbow was saying something to Anon, but even your trained ears couldn’t figure out what.
  110. >As you watched the two exchange various fluids, you couldn’t help but notice something about where you were sitting.
  111. >It was now mildly damp.
  112. “Darn it,” you muttered to yourself, reaching down to rub out the spot as best you could.
  113. >Right as you said that though, you heard something like a hiss or whatever from Rainbow.
  114.
  115. -------------------
  116.
  117. >Looking up, you watched as she arched her back, wings going wild like she was trying to take off.
  118. >Anon had his hands on her hips, holding her in place while she thrashed about, making all manner of hushed noises.
  119. >She probably thought you were still down on stage working...
  120. >Yet again, you found your ass in a damp spot.
  121. >You’d been slowly oozing all over that one poor spot, only managing to make a bigger mess.
  122. “That’ll stain,” you whispered to yourself, trying to be quiet.
  123. >Apparently you weren't quiet enough.
  124. >When you’d looked back to the duo on the bed, you found a pair of magenta eyes looking right back at you.
  125. >Suddenly the spot on the carpet didn’t seem so important.
  126. >All of the hair in your coat spiked, the chill of being caught red-hooved ran through your mane and the base of your tail.
  127. >Maybe if you didn’t move, she wouldn’t see you?
  128. >Her wink re-enforced the opposite.
  129. >She’d seen you, probably seen what you’d been doing, and now she was going to hold that over your head or something.
  130. >Probably as payback for earlier.
  131. >“Hey, Anon?”
  132. >Oh shit. Was she about to-
  133. >“Yes, Dashie?”
  134. >Aaaah, you’d forgotten about the pet names.
  135. >“I’ve got an idea,” she said, giving you another wink as she extended her wings.
  136. >You watched as she agonizingly slowly slipped herself off of Anon, his flesh still at attention.
  137. >There was of course some fluid leaking here and there, but not nearly as much as you’d expected, and none of it looked like sperm.
  138. >Not that you’d be a professional on that subject.
  139. >Feeling your cheeks grow boiling red at the thought, you continued to watch as Rainbow made a circle with her hoof on what you thought to be his chest.
  140.
  141. -------------------
  142.
  143. >Again, you couldn’t really see him too well.
  144. >“You just stay right here. I’ve got a little surprise.”
  145. >Without another word, she hopped off the bed and walked over to a dresser.
  146. >After rummaging through one of the drawers, she finally emerged victorious with a white cloth.
  147. >When she hopped up on the bed again, Anon of course asked the question that’d been burning in your mind for a minute or so now.
  148. >“What’s that for?”
  149. >Dropping it on his chest, she started to sit back down on his erection, enticing a moan from the human.
  150. >“It’s a blindfold. Just put it on, and let me worry about the rest," she said, easing into a comfortable seat as they hilted.
  151. >Well, if you had plans before, you didn’t now. This was going somewhere, you just weren’t sure where yet.
