Of course, almost all fans of art-rock band known King Crimson. And no wonder: this legendary band not only continues to exist from the end of the full 60, but do not get tired to surprise and delight fans of virtually every new release. Perhaps the best albums of this great team is a trilogy of 70: "Larks 'Tongues in Aspic'" "Starless & Bible Black" and "Red". Participant record all these disks violinist David Cross.

Of course, King Crimson firmly (and logical) is associated at all with the figure of the leader, Robert Fripp. But if the Crimson albums, as well as Fripp's solo album is more or less known, and sometimes quite popular among the lovers of progressive, then often more interesting papers Cross knows much smaller number of people.

David Cross was born in 1949 in the town of Terncheypl. His father played the organ in the church, as well as a piano in a variety of local dance groups. At the age of nine years in Stoke Dameral Primary School, David began learning to play the violin. From 1967 to 1970 he studied at Saint Luke's College of Education, which has been successfully completed. By the time David was already a leader in the college orchestra.

Since the early 70's, David played in many folk and rock bands. From 1972 to 1974, he was the undisputed violinist King Crimson. After leaving the Crimson Cross is very active in composing and producing the work, simultaneously playing in the theater. In general, the theater - it's second passion remarkable musician. David played in orchestras such renowned theaters as the Royal Court Theatre, Royal Court Upstairs, Bush Theatre, Wyndhams Theatre and Arts Meeting Place.
