Sonic
A mysterious hero who appeared one day with no memory of his past, but a desire to help protect others. He pretends to be a loner and act rude, but this is just to hide his insecurities. Has the power to run at blindingly fast speeds, and is quick witted, letting him come up with plans on the fly.

Amy Rose
The leader of the resistance against the Eggman Empire, brave but cheerful. She holds one of the Chaos Emeralds, and after years of training has managed to use its energies on her own. She can use the Chaos Energy to create a magic hammer, and cast magical spells using her tarot cards. She is incredibly interested in Sonic, and wants to help him find out about his past.

Miles "Tails" Prower
A young fox who was born with a second tail due to pollution caused by Eggman's machines. Only 7 years old, Tails hasn't known anything from before Eggman appeared, but still retains a childlike optimism. Became interested in Eggman's machines, and took to tinkering with them, and creating several devices used by the resistance, making him their chief mechanic. Looks up to Sonic after he saved his life, and tries to act like him, unsuccessfully.

Main Villains:
Dr. Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik
A mysterious mad scientist who arrived to the Angel Isles one day without warning. A megalomaniac, Eggman wishes to turn the isles into his own personal, entirely mechanical, resort. Brilliant with robotics, Eggman has created hundreds of different models of warmongering robots. Made himself half mechanical in order to combat a degenerative disease that runs in his family.

Orbot & Cubot
Eggman's sidekicks, two small robots that resemble a floating orb and a floating cube. Orbot is dry and snarky, but respects his boss to a point. Cubot isn't bright, and is generally an annoyance to everyone around him. The two act as a power battery for Eggman's cybernetic enhancements, and can allow him to enter combat on his own when they combine their power.
