Matrix post escape, with a temporary car

Kurtis snuck back into the empty house he'd been hiding in for the last couple weeks. His newest supply run had gone well, he had gotten some junk food to last him for the next 2 days and his prep for finally leaving this town was going well enough he could probably leave soon. His odds of staying undetected would considerably drop in the next couple days, so he'd need to leave before then.

He'd found this house using his simulation, searching for unoccupied houses he could hide out in. Using the pre-cognitive abilities it grants he'd managed to enter without triggering the security system and disabled it too. According to what he'd found from searching it the family that lived there are away currently, on a trip to New York currently. He wasn't sure when they'd be back, yet another reason for him to be moving on soon.

They don't appear to be trying all that hard to bring him in, though they do appear to be attempting to monitor him. His sim had warned him 4 times now that attempting to use a phone or being observed by camera's would lead to him being detected. Still they do seem to share that information with the soldier's looking for escapee's so it's not like they aren't trying at all.

Still those are worries of another day, for now he eats half a pizza and decides to go to sleep. Being woken up by sounds outside his temporary home, it seems someone's at the door. After knocking for a while they leave. Seems someone doesn't know there isn't supposed to be anyone here. Still the encounter was worrying enough, his preparations are complete and staying simply means he'll be discovered so he chooses to leave today.

So he sneaks out of the house, and decides to take one of the cars around. A Subaru o\Outback, someone was visiting one of the houses here and had  left their key in the car. Deciding to take advantage of dumb people being way to trusting he chooses it. Packing in his bags, both packed lightly mainly containing some sealed food along with the 5000 dollars he'd found in the house and 2 changes of clothes. He'd need to ditch it sooner or later, driving a stolen car wasn't the best way to stay hidden especially since he didn't know how to disable it's security features, but for now he'd enjoy the faster travelling speed.

His destination? Whichever direction has the highest chances of him meeting another escapee. There's some safety in numbers, besides if they do get caught he can probably still get away. He wants to see some of the others, even if only to make sure some of his friends made it out.
