The heart of this mod is a redesigned painting canvas. Paintings are replaced with canvasses, which are used on an easel to create artworks which can be placed in the world. The easel allows for mixing of pigments into different colors. Placing a pigment in the easel's pigment box will increase the available pigment for that kind of paint. This means that finding and farming pigments is a meaningful restriction in producing art.

Art is made as pixel art made at twice the texture resolution of vanilla blocks. This can also be used, with adequate paint mixing, to create fake artificial block textures for any arbitrary painting.

Charcoal and coal can be used on the easel as well for line-art sketches at a higher resolution. maybe.

Text can be printed onto paintings.

Paintings can be duplicated on the easel as well.

Pages are crafted from a piece of paper and a sign. They allow for a full minecraft-book-page of text to be written, taken down, and moved.

A new block, silver ore, generates around gold level. When smelted, it provides silver bars. It might be used for placeable mirrors.

Silver can be used in potion brewing for various purposes. maybe we can also add vampires to minecraft and have silver be used as a weapon to foil them.

Photographic film can be manufactured through some process involving silver.

Cameras are crafted from a box of wood or metal and an opening for a lens. The camera is then crafted together with photographic film to increase its uses, up to 16. When the camera takes a picture, its uses goes down by one, and an exposed film is added to the inventory. The film can then be turned into a black and white pixellated photograph through some means. Darkrooms or whatever, idk.

A Television Camera is crafted using an eye of ender in the middle of the normal camera recipe. A television screen is crafted from an ender pearl, a glass pane, a redstone dust, and a metal box. Any screen liked by a redstone dust connection to a video camera will show that image on its screen in real time. Alternatively, the camera can be linked with the television screen through a similar process as compasses and lodestones, and will work wirelessly at any range.
