  1. Preparation
  2.
  3.
  4.
  5. The process of flattening both steel, and arcanium had been done- the initial steps, and with both 'core', and a 'layer' completed- there comes the following before the Tyrium is removed from it's concealment.
  6.
  7. Of the two already done- placed into the forge's holding space where heats that constantly maintain them in their state of sensitivity. The steel is taken form there, arcanium soon following suit; chunks of either massed placed next to each other- the appearance of the latter still suggesting a gore-y secretion as substance, and drip back onto the anvil this time.
  8.
  9. With tongs, and a watchful eye; placed next to each other for the moment- the Smith taking time to consider, and inspect before a hammer is raised. In that moment, there comes a coating! For the first piece; steel taken to with water, and an off-color putty-like substance smeared into it.
  10.
  11. By hand, and worked into grooves; earthen gloves present, and after such is said, and done. . .

  13. Folding
  14.
  15.
  16.
  17. Tongs clamp against it, an end that is raised while a portion remains 'grounded'. Folded-very literally- upon itself, the surface of steel blankets what lies beneath. Evening it out, and maintaining consistent measurements; heat present in the room as a constant force not just about the surface of hammer this time, but one that raises the general temperature -- effecting all things left unsealed; arcanium a target to the shape-altering inducing effects of fire magic expertly controlled, and fine-tuned to replicate degrees necessary for the method of 'folding' displayed.
  18.
  19. A sweltering moment considering, this a boiling room at this point- concealed in the crags of the earth, and shielded from the brunt of fire as best as he could in these moments. The hammer glows a crimson red, the fires adopted there- the essence of corrupted lunar radiaites; pouring from his person, and injected into it as well.
  20.
  21. There comes the first strike.
  22.
  23. Into the held piece, the tongues not moved as he meshes them together; flattening as had done before, but this time allowing for combination- impurities to be rid of, and what remained a 'purer', and more refined state. The fire 'melting' away those things, and his strength 'stripping' them of the metals as well.
  24.
  25. Through combined efforts of muscle, and magical; the steel is improved upon, made better, and slowly- it sculpts into the 'perfect' center for his intents. The edges are focused, magic is injected; the baseless steel made into coveted alloy -- adopting more than just characteristics, the sheen of crimson that exudes from him now finding a place to imprint.
  26.
  27. Where it danced upon flesh merely, it now dyed the surface of steel in it's colors. It changed them, corrupted them. With each driving point force, it was shifted a little more.
  28.
  29. Until the point where they 'fit' together. Not one piece told apart from one another now. This is a process that is continued! Tongs gripping at edges lathered in water, and off-color substance- repeatedly hammered, and mesh over the course of minutes, and perhaps hours.
  30.
  31. Echoes in the area, that emanate, and resound; heat that is clearly felt -- boiling, and corrupting.
  32. (Dirty Stranger)
  33. Toiling over flames still, the steel's continuous refinement leaving only slate pieces; fragments that are cut along in angles, and rectangular shapes- fragmented, and left purposely thin by comparison to anything else that would be made to do.
  34.
  35. 'Slot' pieces; set to fit into the next portion of work. A hand falling to the Gore Arcanium, the once grossly riddled mound of flesh, and mutilated portions now a clear, and deep crimson-magenta sort of hue. It is dragged there to the center as those pieces of steel are pushed off to the side, a holding area to replace them.
  36.
  37. A similar dynamic is done for the Arcanium. This time the influential energies of cosmic power gifted from Belial are used more oft than 'simple' magical flame. Characteristics are shared, an amalgamation of the two are formed, and for a very brief, and taxing duration- magic melds with faith, and from it there comes something extraordinary!
  38.
  39. For the purpose of working this particular metal; experience with it prior to blessing a tough one, harrowing exercise that would leave him winded. Now- with access to a very convenient, and very potent form of Belial's strength- things were easier.
  40.
  41. The hammer, still bearing that crimson hue, yet now a murky, and deep color; with contact there comes a 'parting' upon the Arcanium. Magics close in origin, and so a natural defense becomes little more than an invitation for his strikes.
  42.
  43. Folded with tongs, the spinal ridge is focused on -- a tougher metal, by far; breaking it down slowly was necessary, and so he starts at it's 'support'; breaking it down from the side, and in so- allowing for an easier transition otherwise!
  44.
  45. As it is pressed into itself, much in the same way as the steel; time warping effects applied this time as strength does not do it alone. To influence, and 'suggest' change was necessary. It's defenses furthered deteriorated through this, and so as he mashes blow after blow in- injecting his self into the work as mana is stripped from his circuits, and implanted into what would later become the 'inner' layer of the blade.

  47. Fitting
  48.
  49.
  50.
  51. The pieces were complete; hollowed at ends, and angled to match those of steel. The slot effect maintained, and fragments were set to match, and fit perfectly with those of the opposing metal.
  52.
  53. They're placed in a still partially moldable stage; reasoning being to allow for any adjustments, or altercations along the way. The fire surrounding begins to lessen, growing lax as an intense need is no longer found- purified portions are all that remain, and after toils, and mayhem- there remains only ONE chunk of Gore Arcanium in the hands of the Smith.
  54.
  55. Unnecessary, and to not gain any more mention besides this.
  56.
  57. Slipping places into desired spots; pressed to each other for the moment, and 'sealed' with heat. Influenced by the embrace of Belial all the same, the bonds of Arcanium are yet again weakened, while the steel adopts the characteristics of the cosmic energies along with the heat related properties correlating as base.
  58.
  59. Each part is done, 'nailed' into place with hammer blow -- true, and singular strikes that are enacted solely for securing. As the steel sits at the corner, a flexible inner mold- the gore arcanium's flesh-riddled portions no longer remain, save for tin-gents, and strips of flesh that might throb, and pulse; beating as though alive, the twitch that accompanies the fire gracing them still.
  60.
  61. Empowered as it goes, the Smith creating the 'soft center', as well as 'inner-outer' portions. Slid down into the forge, where they awaited one final baptism by conflagration; heat punched up a notch in this particular place -- a hand that remains, fueling the forge with more than fire -- lunar mana embedded, and a globe of fire erected.
  62.
  63. Rotating about it, three hundred, and sixty degrees; rapid circular motions providing a constant stream of the energies. Left like this was the plan -- heating it entirely, there remaining one more portion to be done later.
