I kinda wanted to give the static a chance to clear before calling it out, but what I saw was other people hopping in on this train

I had attempted to right the ship, but it wasn't happening
I don't really get what context clues I was expected to give you otherwise to tell you that what you were posting in there did nothing to add to the conversation at hand but definitely detracted from it, without calling you out on it
But the tone I got was essentially NERRRRRRRRDS
And honestly I don't mind having a different place in this server that is for more like borderline academic talks about games, but as far as I can tell the channel doesn't exist and it's not so easy to engage in that kind of conversation and have it come to a meaningful point when people seem to want to create new paths of least resistance

If you want a channel that is dedicated to only seriousposting about games youre more than welcome to suggest it to Ben and he would probably oblige but I'm sorry, you do not get to dictate the topic of discussion or the tone of it in a channel
