  1. final theory for ciconia:
  2. This goes off a bit from the Simulation theory and the whole MGS2 parallels,
  3. so it is recommended you read and play those first before continuing.
  4. Since we know Ryukishi is a fan of the Metal Gear Solid series there may be more creedence to this.
  5. In the whole sequence where Liquid Ocelot is born, we learn that the S3 plan was
  6. all scripted to follow the events of Shadow Moses.
  7. If we applied that kind of logic, is Ciconia scripted / a simulation of Higurashi and/or
  8. Umineko?
  9.
  10. For example, Lingji as a character can be seen as a combination of Tsumihoroboshi-hen Rena
  11. and Beatrice. Even the latter two characters are quite similar. If confused, read Lingji's
  12. bio for things such as '1-on-1 fighting,' her having magical powers which seem to gifted by
  13. another 34, and the final part of phase 1 following a similar structure of the scene when
  14. birth and death plays in the OG tsumi. funnily enough, keiichi mentions that demons in
  15. hell want him to do the same sin again a few times. i'm sure you'll be able to figure
  16. out the rest.
  17.
  18. The Three Kings are also interesting because we've had a similar situation happen
  19. in Higurashi with the Three families, Sonozaki, Kimiyoshi, and Furude. People
  20. have suggested that it is a play on the Four Dark Heavenly Kings (with Toujirou
  21. being the one excluded,) but if we see it as those families, as suggested by
  22. salt, then one of the three kings opposing the others has already happened
  23. with forgiving the houjous.
  24.
  25. MIYAO, as a virus, can also be seen as something similar to Hinamizawa Syndrome.
  26. It is true Hinamizawa Syndrome does want you to kill others, make you paranoid,
  27. and then kill yourself. Maybe this is why Miyao kills Lingji, it is similar to when
  28. Keiichi was droven mad in Onikakushi-hen and killed Rena in a L5 rage.
  29.
  30. Gravemole's kette can be seen as Lambda, Bernkastel, and Featherine. There is
  31. little time to explain, but just remember Lilja's death in relation to Lambda
  32. and Featherine. Also Koshka being a hick and liking dried plums and such. I
  33. wonder if this could just be extended over to what happened in Sotsugou since the
  34. streams are crossing.
  35.
  36. Another thing I suggested in the past, similar to the S3 plan it is first supposed
  37. to mean "Solid Snake Simulation," but that isn't the actual name according to
  38. the A.I.. In Ciconia, A3W might be similar. We are led to believe it means 'After
  39. (the) 3rd War,' but what if it really does mean 'After (the) World Wide Web,' if
  40. true, a nice commentary on the invention of the internet in 1989 and would make
  41. Higurashi (1983,) Umineko (1986,) and Ciconia (1989) be separated by 3's.
  42.
  43. ---
  44. Even though Raiden is trained similarly to Snake, they are not the same.
  45. In this simulation, it is possible Keiichi and Miyao are also different in this way.
  46. I'd like to think that Miyao and Battler are also the same "person," in the kind
  47. of meta-sense. Maybe Keiichi is Willard like though of when Umineko was releasing?
  48. Who knows.
  49. Another idea is that Miyao actually is the anti-christ, but goes against it. kind of
  50. like breaking the role that he was assigned. it would fit nicely.
  51.
  52. My final thoughts would be maybe Miyao is like Keiichi in the sense that he is being
  53. trained to be the key (not in the Rewrite sense!) or miracle-maker like Keiichi was for Rika, but instead
  54. this is for Satoko's kiseki if she really is Anomalous in this simulation.
  55. ---
  56.
  57. I believe in you.
