  3. ----------
  4. I want to hug rackham and listen to him go on and on about pirates and poker
  5. -
  6. Just had a thought: Is Rackham a closet humie? Considering that humans are meant to be all kinds of wacky things and humies dress in all kinds of ways (like Chefs, Clowns, Businessmen and the like), wouldn't a Pirate be somewhere on that list? Or would it be considered it's own can of worms, like how there's a difference between being a weeb and a furry?
  7. -
  8. uh no it's not that deep foxy just likes pirates
  9. -
  10. He's in the closet about something alright.
  11. -
  12. there probably was an animal person age of piracy that he and haddock love. could there be some pirate fantasy fiction that includes humans for the "woah, magic!" factor? probably, but that doesn't make rackham a humie in the same sense that people who like star trek arent furries even though trek has cat people in it
  13. -
  14. >some pirate fantasy fiction that includes humans for the "woah, magic!" factor? probably
  15.
  16. Pirates of the Caribbean, but all the humans are furries and Davy Jones is a human
  17.
  18. And so are the Mermaids but I haven't watched that movie in a while
  19. -

  21. That gave me a good chuckle, yes sir.
  22.

  24. You know what? Makes sense to me. He's just in his own little fandom...and tries so hard to make it mesh into other things. Even if he has to deal with humie crap to do it.
  25.
  26. >>46663054
  27. >And Davy Jones is a human.
  28.
  29. Would that mean some random furry can transformed into a human or would he have been a human the entire time but then cursed by sea magic when his heart got broken?
  30. ---
  31. >Mike finds out that some movies from his world are in this one...however, they aren't all 1:1 so some of the plot elements are quite a bit different with a few movies.
  32. >On the one hand, this is great! It means he can talk about movies he adores with others without being all awkward...as long as he watches this world's version beforehand.
  33. >The reason for that leads to our other hand...
  34. >Thanks to this being an animal world with it's own fantasy settings, a lot of movies with supernatural elements will throw in a couple of humans, like how our world will throw in elves, the undead and mermaids.
  35. >Which leads to a problem with watching Pirates of the Caribbean. Enough of the plot was left untouched but for whatever reason, Davy Jones is a human, anyone who takes the Cursed Gold becomes a Cursed Human who longs for their fur/scales again and because of shenanigans, some of the romance got played up.
  36. >And even weirder, thanks to the animal world change, Jack Sparrow ends up as not the weirdest/most eccentric character...
  37. >Oh well, at least it's something new to watch...
  38. -
  39. >One conspiracy nut actually makes Mike a little nervous. Not because they're on his tail or because they're a dangerous psycho.
  40. >But because they're actually really close to what the truth is.
  41. >"I'd say humans are little more than regular people from a society not entirely different from our own. Sure, they may do grand heroics from time to time but that is merely thanks to a 'Pack Mentality' they may have formed with someone else. Truth be told, if there really was a human in this world, would we really know? They wouldn't be flying around with Great Monkey Tails or blasting who they didn't like with energy beams. The truth of it is, if a human really did come here? I'd say they'd just blend in as best they could with what little friends they manage to make."
  42. >None of the other roommates know why Mike refuses to watch that particular "History" show anymore...
  43. -
  44. >The show starts talking about human evolution
  45. >Them being a single species gave them a far greater senses for self sacrifice of of loyalty and family bonds to protect the group
  46. >In the AU animal instincts of self preservation are far stronger than in humans
  47. >That's part of the reason humans throw themselves into danger
  48. >A willingness to putting oneself into danger or discomfort for even the most simple things like a failing pan or giving the only umbrella under the rain is seen as the greatest hallmark of a human
  49. >Humans also cant stand to live in a filthy home
  50. >The conspiracy nuts like to use clean tombs or sets of perfectly preserved books as sighs of human intervention
  51. >They also know the location of forgotten kings they made deals with
  52. >Mike talked about a King Rameses movie he loved before arriving here
  53. >Nobody knows who the hell he's talking about
  54. -------
  55. >Mike gets a meeting with some human truthers
  56. >He thing he's having a nice talk before the strange questions start
  57. >How many kings did you know?
  58. >Did human technology build the pyramid's?
  59. >Can humans really chew and walk at the same time?
  60. >Why do human have strange names like Walker or Good man?
  61. >Mike is shocked but was ready to explain himself
  62. >Then one cuts some of his hair running off
  63. >Another licks his hand bolting in the opposite direction
  64. >The remaining ones are very apologetic
  65. >Mike forgives and forgets until they ask him to take off his shirt
  66. -
  67. >They ask if he's a Alien or interdimensional traveler
  68. >Wants to see his leaders to have a chat with the promise they wont draw prn of them for a agreed time period
  69. >Mike gets to to see more of the truther staking out the complex
  70. >Marion is taking money from them but Mike is far to far away to hear what he's talking to them about
  71. >Mike checks his phone
  72. >Its Marion
  73. >"Sorry for this but id say everyone will be very happy to have a new hot water tank"
  74. >"I promise only 8% will go to Stronghold's figures"
  75. -
  76. >promise they wont draw prn of them for a agreed time period
  77. Kek
  78. >Mike decides to humor them
  79. >Tells them he's a warlord of 34-124bc
  80. >He changes the name on a whim but they still haven't caught on
  81. >Marion sold them pace to watch him at his security booth
  82. >And some art pieces of his player Chars
  83. >The night goes quickly with the truthers just siting on chairs they had brought
  84. >At around 2am the catering arrived
  85. >Mostly fried fish
  86. >Faz came to check if everything was alright
  87. >Completely forgot what he was doing the moment fried salmon hit him
  88. -
  89. >They are watching him like the performer at the circuses
  90. >Started dirtying up his work space for no apparent reason
  91. >Jotting down everything he says or does
  92. >Had to walk home for some cleaning suppys real fast when someone accidently tossed a sandwich on his window
  93. >Faz was too busy grabbing fish to notice all the cameras they set up in his office
  94. >He was payed in salmon patty's to go home and not speak of this
  95. >Not knowing they were doing anything nefarious grabs enough for everyone and goes to bed
