  21. These Moves often produce or consume Paragon or Renegade points. All of both are lost at the end of each adventure.
  22. If there are two Command PCs, then they can differentiate themselves by one(Picard/Spock) going Paragon, and the other(Kirk/Riker) going Renegade.
  23.
  24. ○ Delegate — If you aren't sure how to resolve a problem, one of your people might. You can pass a difficult task to one or more people under your command; they must spend the rest of the scene working on it. Once the next scene begins, they find out how to make progress. If one of them has a Move that can help, then they know which one(s); if not, then they know who does, either another crew member or an NPC(who might be quite elsewhere). If they report the answer to you, then you also gain a Paragon point(max 3).
  25.
  26. ○ The Buck Stops Here — When someone under your command fails in the use of a Move, you can step in and try. You use their Move, Stats, etc, but any effects(like a condition) are on you. When you use this, gain a Renegade point(max 3).
  27.
  28. ○ Good Old-Fashioned Fisticuffs — In melee, you can spend Renegade points to inflict +1 wound Condition per Renegade point.
  29. If you engage in melee without spending Renegade points on this, and you win, then gain 1 Renegade point(max 6).
  30.
  31. ○ Commanding Oratory — You can make a speech, spending all your Paragon and Renegade points(min 1 total), that makes NPCs shut up and listen. If you're one clue away from completing the puzzle portion of the adventure, then an NPC will (accidentally) reveal it right before your speech. Renegade points show NPCs the wrongness of what they've been doing, and can inflict up to one Condition per Renegade point. Paragon points show NPCs the rightness of a future path, and they carry forward a +1 per Paragon point so long as they stay on that path.
  32.
  33. ○ In Harm's Way — When some ill would befall someone under your command, you can interpose yourself and take it in their stead. Either gain a Renegade point(max 3) or block one Condition, your choice.
  34.
  35. ○ I Expect You To Dine — If you can convince a hostile character to partake of your hospitality, then gain a Paragon point(max 6), and you and those under your command carry +1 forward to influencing them.
  36.
  37. ○ I'm Not Picard — You can convert Paragon points into Renegade points. Start each adventure with a Renegade point.
  38.
  39. ○ Better Officers Than This — You can convert Renegade points into Paragon points. Start each adventure with a Paragon point.
