I'll start this by giving a bit of background information on both of these groups and lead into what transpired between them in just these last few weeks.

Del Bigtree is a prominent vaccine skeptic journalist, he is a producer and worked on the TV show 'The Doctors', worked with others such as Brian Hooker and Andrew Wakefield in creating the film 'Vaxxed' which highlights the corruption behind the CDC in which the CDC whistle blower William Thompson proves they destroyed data showing a link between MMR and autism. He also runs [ICAN](http://icandecide.org/) which is the 'Informed Consent Action Network' which has filed many successful lawsuits against the CDC and FDA, which you can find in their whitepapers and HHS responses in which they filed for FOIA requests but when none were given they forced their hands in a court order.  These FOIA's proved dangers such as the HHS response in which they stated they had never conducted a bi-annual report to be sent to congress as stated by the 1986 act meaning no safety studies in over 30 years and no task force was created to protect the people by ensuring vaccine safety was being upheld. [The Total Health Show](http://www.totalhealthshow.com/showInfo/index.cfm) is a medical conference that has been held in Toronto, Ontario for the past 40 years since 1978.  This conference is not limited to only medicine pushed on by the pharmaceutical industry and mainstream doctor speakers but it is open to all forms of medicine and those who practice natural and alternative medicines.  Because this conference is open to all medicine it has become the host to many forms of natural medicine and healthy living practitioners.

On February 6, 2019 TheGlobeAndMail printed this article which attacked Del Bigtree's character and severely misrepresented him.  [Toronto conference to feature prominent anti-vaccine activist](https://www.theglobeandmail.com/canada/article-toronto-conference-to-feature-prominent-anti-vaccine-activist-del/) In the article they say how it is dangerous to give a platform to the very person who proved in a FOIA request that HHS has never done proper safety studies or placebo studies

>Health experts say they are concerned about the conference granting Mr. Bigtree a public forum and say the case illustrates how difficult it is to counter misleading, false information about health and medicine.

>“I’m very concerned about it,” said Natasha Crowcroft, chief of applied immunization research at Public Health Ontario. “Children are dying because of [anti-vaccination]. Adults are dying because of it. This is not a game.”

Later in the article they completely misrepresent his character with out of context quotes.

>In an interview, Mr. Bigtree said it’s important to be able to express competing views about vaccine safety.

>“It was dangerous to speak out against the Third Reich,” he said. “Historically, we’re always told it’s dangerous to challenge the consensus view.”

And they casually leave out every other comparison leaving only the most controversial one as if it is the only one and the only extreme when we know it is historically true that many dictators and those in power do not want us to question the mainstream narrative.

>When asked if he thinks vaccines are dangerous, Mr. Bigtree responded: “I know that vaccines are dangerous.”

He knows vaccines are dangerous not because he proves it but because the vaccine inserts themselves state things like "can cause X injury" and [we have paid out over $4billion dollars in court for these injuries](https://www.hrsa.gov/vaccine-compensation/data/index.html).

Del Bigtree was smart and recorded his conversation with this interviewer because he knew she was going to misrepresent him, in fact her email to him requesting this interview stated

>Hi, I'm a reporter with the Globe and Mail and I'm reaching out because I'm looking to speak to Del Bigtree about his upcoming appearance at the Toronto Total Health Show.  I'd like to speak to him about **his misleading views and false claims** about the safety of vaccines.  Is it possible to set up a call today? Thanks, Carly

Just look at how she addresses him for an interview, she wasn't looking to uncover the story, she was looking to attack this man before she interviewed him.  Who calls for an interview saying "I think you are wrong and misleading, by the way can you spare your time for an interview so I can obviously slander you?"

You can listen to his own words at the **33:20 and on wards** mark in his show where **he gives the full context of those quotes** in which he states that we must always question the narrative, that it was dangerous to speak out against the third Reich, Palestine, and even dangerous to challenge established science just as we know with the man who invented hand-washing he was put into an insane asylum yet his work has saved more lives in a single day than vaccines could ever hope to achieve and we know this because it's absolutely mandatory in almost every profession regarding health or food or sanitization that you must wash your hands before performing anything.

In the interview he was basically being told by Carly Weeks "Don't you think it's dangerous to bring up these issues with vaccines?" because he has made nothing up, in fact most of his information comes from the CDC, FDA, HHS, IOM, all sorts of independent researchers and institutes and even Stanley Plotkins himself.  His repose was and **I'll summarize with some liberty what he says, these are not his actual words, I urge you to watch and listen yourself.**

>Was it wrong when doctors started questioning pharmaceuticals like thalidomide or vioxx? It is really dangerous when we allow manufacturers to dictate their perspective and make it our talking points.  Many people have this disconnect that vaccines are a magical product but they are a pharmaceutical product, just like drugs are, and we know for a fact that they lose billions every year and many are recalled for killing people so why are vaccines exempt from this understanding and why should I never question this industry?

[He has been kicked out for speaking the truth](http://www.totalhealthshow.com/showInfo/speakers.cfm), the total health show has officially removed him from their speaker list and it is not the first time it has happened to him so he is used to it he says.

>After much consideration, the organizers at the Total Health Show have announced that they have decided to **cancel the advertised appearance of Del Bigtree** at the 2019 Total Health Show in April.

Shortly after another article from 'The Globe and Mail' was released.

In this new article they printed a **BLATANT LIE** which insinuated that the sponsors did not want Del Bigtree as an active speaker at the conference.

>In an e-mailed statement, a spokeswoman for Healthy Planet said the company will continue as a sponsor and exhibitor at the conference now that Mr. Bigtree’s appearance has been cancelled.

I contacted 'The Healthy Planet' and asked how they could advocate for censorship of speakers.  and they responded which I will post [here in this album](https://imgur.com/a/opWQSNi)

They outright state that the Globe and Mail misrepresented them and that they have no influence on the speakers and **they do not wish for anyone to be censored and gave thanks for this correction and "righting this wrong"**
