  1. The main thing, I think, keeping most streamers from making the jump to hitbox is that our followers don't magically come with us. But why shouldn't they? Here is an idea: Twitch's API allows you to check who is following a user and who is being followed by a user. Allow each user (and new user) to specify their Twitch username (as an opt-in service) with hitbox. When a user joins hitbox, it should automatically follow any user they were already following on Twitch (easy!) and automatically be followed by any user they were already followed by on Twitch (also easy!). If a system like this were in place, I don't see any reason why the Twitch->hitbox migration would even take a second thought for most streamers.
