This Dog was About to be Euthanized, Until a Disabled Man Gave Him A Second Chance

Probably, this poor dog was hit by a car and was left for dead on the side of a road. The ill-fated pup lost his two legs and was about to be put down.

Fortunately, he was saved by the kind people at the San Antonio Pets Alive, an animal rescue center. They named him Chance after he survived. But now Chance needed a wheelchair to move around. He was broken and nobody wanted to adopt him because they think that he will just be a burden. But a kindhearted man named Michael gave him a new life and adopted him.

Michael’s condition also confines him in a wheelchair.

“I knew his struggles as well as mine, and I knew that we could overcome those obstacles together,” Michael said. “When he’s in his chair and we’re running together down the street, we feel free. It’s easy for us to relate.”

Presently, Chance is in good hands as Michael and his wife are taking care of him. Luckily, he now have a happier and better life with them.

The pooch found a loving home and a friend who knows exactly what he's going through, and because of that, they understand each other and they've created a beautiful bond.

“The difference Chance makes in my life is the happiness and the courage to know that there isn’t anything that anybody can’t do. He kind of takes after me, I guess, he just knows that we have no restrictions and there isn’t anything we can’t do”, says Michael.
