The Forbidden Smooch Walkthrough

To win you need to collect 4 items throughout the dungeon. These items (in no particular order):

* The Flower: This is found in the parkour segment. To find this go to the right corridor from the gift area and it will be through a passage on the right. The parkour is fairly difficult, but its not impossible and there are no tricks. The jump in the end is the hardest bit and there are actually two possible jump points (they both should be obvious). Just needs a lot of attempts (or being a pro gamer)

* The Blue Horn: This one is in the same corridor as the parkour challenge just right ahead. It's the room with lots of levers. The levers open/close the bridges in the room. There are a bunch of hints that reveal themselves automatically as you spend time in the room. Most of the levers don't actually do anything. The solution is to put the levers in a checkerboard pattern (hence all the chessboards). Eg:

You can use the more lighter lever next to the first bridge to know where to start the on-off pattern.

* The Cheese: First gift on the left corridor. To get this you need to enter the maze and find it there. The maze is pretty finicky with the walls appear/disappearing when you are not looking. After around 5 minutes in the maze a big door to the second section of the maze opens which has the actual cheese room (before that the maze is still beatable but you need to know the other exact wall that opens. The other open wall just makes it easier). The cheese room is also behind a toggling wall, through a small creak in the wall so it's easy to miss. If you find the little area in the wall where there is a section that's inwards a little you can get the cheese if you stop looking at it for a while and the wall should open. All the various props in the maze also appear/disappear.

* The Egg: The other gift in the left corridor. To get this you need to find the correct combination. Even I don't know the combination, and the "sprays" around the temple is just a distraction. The easiest way to solve this is to just try all the combinations :) it's pretty easy as there are only 4*4*4 = 64 combinations anyways.


General temple stuff: There are other walls/props that appear/disappear when you are not looking throughout the place. These are mostly harmless. After you get the first gift the statue of the goddess disappears. After you get the 2nd gift it starts wandering around, only moving when you don't look at it (and sometimes teleporting lol). After the 3rd gift it will swap between "hunt" and "run away" modes, seeking the player then running away, still only moving when you don't look. It will kill you if you let it get too close and look away in either of these modes. (hence it's nice to have headphones on to hear it coming.). After you get the 4th gift it will try to hunt you down, gaining lots of speed, still only moving when you look away. At every stage its kill range gets bigger so at the last stage you essentially need to keep looking at it and go to the gift place backwards. After you get all the gifts on the pedestals you win!

Recommended strategy: The recommended order to play the game is: Parkour -> look and fail at the switches -> Maze -> 3 picture lock -> finish the switches.
