>Lily works for Gisney, the company that now owns Ace Savvy, in some midmanagerial position in multimedia, and Lincoln had been doing linework for Ace Savvy for a couple years before the buyout.
>”I didn’t say a word, Lils. I’m serious. Believe me, you got it on your own.”
>”Okay. I believe you.” Lily says as she gives another squeeze before letting go.
>With 10 older siblings, Lily had a bit of a complex that she wanted to earn things and have them be unique to her.
>Lincoln takes one of her suitcases and they head out to Vanzilla, left running.
>”Lincoln...” She groans.
>”What? They can’t tow this guy.” Lincoln says as he smacks the side of the van.
>They get in and Lincoln starts driving.
>”So, how’re the kids?” Lily says as they merge onto the highway.
>”Good, Lyra and Liena are looking at colleges.” Lincoln says and then sighs. “Private colleges.”
>”I mean, Luna and Loni can pay for that. Right?” Lily says
>”I want to at least help out, y’know?”
>”Yeah, I get it. It’s rough being and not being a dad to 12 kids.”
>”Tell me about it.” Lincoln says. “So, the job?”
>”Oh, yeah. They have me working on the big Cinematic Universe stuff, it’s exciting.” Lily says
>”Yeah?”
>”Yeah. We had this whole discussion about Ace Savvy’s power suite. You would have liked it.” She says
>”Cool.”
>”Speaking of... they were asking about you. Want a job?”
