  1. [[I can't believe I'm actually getting to have tea with Noir Vesper, my favorite member of Holostars English, Tempus guild.]] We both sat down at a small white table that was adorned with our cups and ornate saucers and an assortment of cakes on a silver tiered tray. Being the gentleman that he is, Noir pulled my chair out for me, before seating himself across the table. While I was gazing deeply into his eyes, he picked the steaming pot up and poured me a cup, before pouring himself one and setting it back down.
  2. "So, what do you want to talk about?" I asked in my most charming voice possible. "Anything, I don't care." He replied leaning back in his chair, crossing his arms over his chest.
  3. "I've been meaning to ask you something," I began, picking up my own cup from the table. "Why did you join Holostars? It's not exactly your type of guild, I know," I chuckled to myself. "Your kind doesn't usually get along with people or things that are different than they are. You seem pretty happy there though."
  4. "Well, I suppose I am, but there is more to it. The guild gave me a chance when no one else would. I had just lost everything when the guild took me in. It's there that I can be myself, the other boys are more than welcoming to someone as introverted as I, and I appreciate that." He continued to sip his tea. "It also helps that the guild has some really amazing members, who I truly feel comfortable around. They accepted me for who I am and treated me kindly. I wouldn't trade them for anything, and sometimes I get to meet some interesting people, like yourself." He smiled as he raised his cup and winked at me before sipping deeply.
  5. "That's nice to hear," I said putting my cup down on the table to hide my embarrassment. "So, what are you studying?"
  6. "Oh, nothing too interesting," he answered looking away from me. "I'm studying the history of the world, how it came to be what it is today. It's amazing if you think about all the wars that have happened throughout time, and how everyone just keeps fighting each other over power or land." His voice trailed off as he stared off into space.
  7. "Do you ever wish that we could all live peacefully?" I asked him.
  8. He looked up at me this time and smiled. "I hope so, but I fear that we never will. The world isn't ready for peace."
  9. "Maybe one day," I said, sipping my tea slowly. "For now, maybe we should focus on the present instead."
  10. "Agreed. So, what about yourself? What are you studying?" he asked, turning his attention back onto me.
  11. "Oh, not much really. Just being a kid," I laughed lightly. "I mean, I have some classes to take every week, but I'm taking it easy on myself for now."
  12. "Sounds good to me," he sighed happily. "You're lucky you have the luxury of time."
  13. "Hm," I hummed softly. "Speaking of which, I was wondering if you'd like to go to the park sometime and enjoy the scenery together? That way we could spend some time talking."
  14. "That sounds great!" he exclaimed with a smile. I smiled back at him and nodded. "How about tomorrow morning? I could meet up with you after breakfast."
  15. "Awesome! Tomorrow morning it is then. See ya later, Noir," I called to him as I made my exit.
