about utopia doesn't come on and it just so happens
that i like it in the background when i write
especially when i write about you because of
the obvious association there though it also makes
me think of the thought of the two of us together
like in some movie where every time i see you
time stops but as the song goes through
some lilting melody held together by
airy operatic vocals i feel the urge to
hold you in my arms become all too real
and the high notes in their clarion glories don't
even hold a thought of a candle to all the times
i remember us talking and your voice melting my heart
with the red excess coming out as blushes on my cheeks
as i walked away from each encounter with you
i hope the next time you melt my heart you see me
blushing and understand that i am falling very hard for you
i hope that melts your heart because i don't know how i'd handle
the impact after falling for someone like this
