Nier Story Time - Flames of Prometheus

You know the drill. I'm Storyteller Starmech, yadda yadda yadda. Sorry for the rush, but as you can see we're reaching the ending of our streams and that just makes me so sad! We're so close to the end and the end of these storytimes! It definitely makes one feel like he's deep six-under! But do not feel so bad children, cause our story today is one about aspiration! The sheer determination to fulfill a dream and rise from the very DEPTHS of one's self and into the vastness above! Get what I'm saying?...you don't?...Oh..okay then. Just sit back and let me tell you about the story of a cute little robot.

There was once a cute lil' robot known as P-33, but his friends called him Beepy. Well, just one friend, but for Beepy, this was the bestest friend in the whole wide world!

But that was so long ago. you see, Beepy had awoken from a very very long slumber. His bestest friend was no longer around, mostly cause a weird man had been lead by another very VERY crazy man to attack them. The nerve of that nasty nasty man; Beepy had done nothing wrong. A victim of a crime he did not commit!

Beepy's body was broken, who know for how long. But his mind remained and every day he remembered his dear best friend; He remembered the dream they both shared: That one day, they'd climb up the junk heap together and they'd see the starry skies above it all! They would go out and explore!

But what could Beepy do? He was broke, after all. But something deep within his circuitry did not want to give up! And so, even if weak and cracked, Beepy replaced parts f his body with some junk laying around and proceeded to climb and climb. Beepy was very deep underground, so he had a lot to climb if he were ever to reach the surface. Every now and then, some part of his body would just fall apart, but he'd quickly replace it with another. This continued for a while: Climb up, climb up, repairs, then more climbing...

Thisw ent for days, then weeks, then years...by this point Beepy had no idea how much time had passed, but he didn't care. He was gonna get our of here and fulfill his best friend's dream!

It was through this slow climb where Beepy then heard some voices. As he looked around the junk around him, he would see a bunch of broken robots, who watched their arduous journey intensively. "Help us! Help us!" "We wanna go out and see the sky too!" They kept saying. Beepy understood their desire, since he wanted to get out there too. And soon, he absorbed their consciousness into his, becoming stronger together.

Beepy kept on climbing and climbing and climbing. All the while, more and more Robots asked to come along, which Beepy gladly welcomed into his body. Conciousness after consciousness fused with Beepy and so many parts of him had been removed and replaced; Heck, it was hard to say if Beepy was even the same person at this point. But one thing still burn bright within him: the desire to see the outside and honor his bestest friend's wish! Go Beepy Go!!

After so much climbing, after so much time, Beepy peeled through the last layer of junk to see the sunlight greeting him into the open air. Like an erupting volcano, he emerged from the heap with great vigor! He made had it!! And all the robots that joined him as well; As they ere now part of him.

And that's when Beepy saw the most unusual of sight...

Strange machines were now roaming the earth. Hopping and running and shooting energy orbs all over the place. They appeared to be fighting something. Beepy then noticed something else: The machines were fighting some strange human-like androids. What a sight!

Beepy pondered why they were fighting. He did not really like fighting. As such, he quickly scanned both the machines and the androids to find that none of them seemed to have feelings, they were all just set on fighting. Beepy had climbed for so long, and had learned so much from the many robots he absorbed. and he felt that all this fighting was not good for any of them. And so, Beepy stood up proudly and with his newfound power, send one powerful wave into both machines and androids, giving them a message and a gift: The gift of LIFE!

The fight suddenly ceased and neither side appeared to be harming the other and while this may not last, Beepy was at least proud to have given them both the very same power of sentience as he had been granted before. All thanks to his bestest friend.

And with that finished, Beepy looked up into the sky and activated his jet boosters, leaving the earth behind and launching himself away from this planet and into outer space, to explore the vast cosmos and sees the star just as his friend would have wanted. Go forth brave Beepy!! Go forth and live your best life!!

And that's our story for today, children. Hope this have given you some good feelings. Quite a wacky story, huh? Machines and androids fighting...pppft like that'd ever catch on, am I right? anyways, till next time. On with the show!!
