#QUIET | ❛i don't talk unless i have a reason to.
he isn't the one to start a conversation or join in the middle of one either. he isn't used to being in large groups or crowds and will most likely be the one to observe a conversation than jump into it and be social. unless you're a close friend of corbin's, he will most likely not talk to you. though if someone becomes closer to him, he might warm up and become less quiet around you and make small comments now and then.

he's someone who loves to be alone or have at most, one or two friends. he doesn't trust many people after what he went through in the past and tries to stay away from people in fear of his feelings being hurt. though, he still makes an attempt to try and learn more about someone if he has to do a project or task with them.
#BLUNT | ❛i'm gonna be real honest here. i'm not going to lie because you won't learn.
some take this as a positive trait and some take it as a negative trait. corbin knows one thing, constantly lying and saying someone's wrong doings are okay and aren't that bad is a whole lie and should be told the truth, no matter how much it hurts. he doesn't believe that being nice all the time will help someone reflect but he thinks being harsh will get them to think of their actions for once and have a feeling of what it's like to be the victim or one being picked on.

despite his quiet, ice prince nature, he'll always be there to listen if his friends/trainees or family needs to vent. he knows the feeling of keeping negative emotions in and wants to make sure that people are able to release those negative emotions since the consequences of boxing them up will be greater the more longer it's kept in. if the person doesn't want to speak, then he won't- his goal is just to make sure they're able to release those emotions.

he's not one to show it, but he's extremely caring but just shows it in small actions. he isn't big on helping people in public where the tvs are but he will show he cares in the most secretive ways possible. he may be a so called ice prince or angsty emo guy, but that doesn't mean he doesn't care for others.

BACKGROUND : he was born in la, america as the second eldest biological sibling ( he has three biological siblings. ) growing up, his family wasn't the greatest, corbin was well aware his father wasn't the best father and his mother wasn't the kindest. his parents constantly fought- everyday when he came home, his parents were either in different rooms or screaming at each other. that's why, whenever school ended for corbin, he would gather his siblings and they'd go out for a bit, staying away from the screaming household for as long as possible. when corbin was thirteen, his parents finally split which was a relief but since his mother made corbin and his siblings stay with his father ( his mother thought they'd be better with him because he was more financially well off than herself and couldn't handle her children ) they moved to seoul. growing up, his father was always at work, so corbin was usually at home taking care of his siblings, never really shopping or going out with friends. he had also grown more quiet, his relationships between both of his parents were strained because they now had different perspectives on almost everything and argued nearly everyday. corbin joined a band in his highschool and was the drummer- he was quite good, he poured out all his negative emotions on drumming and singing in the band. he had gotten himself a gf whom he thought was his soulmate but he cheated on him with his bandmate, so corbin left her and his band for good, heartbroken and his trust in friends gone. he then eventually finished highschool and really didn't know what to do. he had recently found out that velvet bomb was holding auditions, ( his younger sister told him. ) he was quite interested which was how he ended up auditioning for velvet bomb, ( for fun and the experience. )
