  1. The true root to the accumulated aggravation is a lot deeper, and just you running the next game won't be any help of fixing it, you need to look closer to how some people behave to drama and how social interaction is broken.
  2.
  3. Let's just skim over the incidences. Mosaic got mad in M36 and wanted to suicide, being a very sore loser. Later on, the remaining townies lost the game due to inactivity and stupidity, and Waddle Derp responded with very childish anger in his postgame thread. Doesntpostverymuch got extremely mad in M37 when I voted him. Ness-Wednesday struggled to cooperate with his fellow mafia members in M38, witchking screamed at him unreasonably, I missed to soothe him, and then Ness lost his head over his (understandable) anger, which caused the reroll and he left. Then I got psychotic over PixelPest because I was too stressed and he was a bullheaded nuisance for my strategy. (And I could never have considered him an ally, to clear up this misunderstanding, it would have been very logical for me if he had been Third Party). Finally in M39 The101marioguy got completely retarded when Mosaic voted him, and TNT pulled off very scummy moves the second he was suspected and lost his mind again and hurt witchking by breaking privacy.

  5. All of these are bad things without a doubt, but the even bigger problem is how people react to it in return and afterwards. The public aggravation and resentfulness against the "perpetrators" is somewhat excessive and irrational, e.g. as seen most obviously in the way Mosaic and Ness were lashed out and ridiculed. Incidents like Mosaic, The101marioguy and TNT were re-stirred out of sheer retaliation after they've been actually done for, or they are twittingly joked about, which is very shabby too (e.g. "the award for most [...] behaviour goes to ..." / "it's all the fault of ..."). I never do that, I never even feel the urge to. You will keep getting your retarded newbies and sore losers every now and then, and you will keep having times when the tension boils over, which is a lot on the back of the game relying on a competitive atmosphere. We need to sort-of be above such things especially when we're not directly involved. But instead we just join sinking on that level too many times.

  7. There has been way too much provocative and malicious sarcasm thrown around. There is witchking, who admits personality disorder and is a very well-settled guy to talk with when he's calm, but he really needs to learn more forgiveness and respect in such situations. When tension raises, he verbally beats people up with the gloves off. There is Sanct, who is also a good guy most of the times, but he gets enraged and irrational very easily and he's deliberately staging himself as a snotty brat in such situations, and his immaturity was widely not really taken care of thus far. There are a few others who mindlessly or inconsiderately jump on bandwagons of sarcasm and mocking and clowning around (say, thehelmetguy or Waddle Derp), and the reason is simply lack of empathy. I guess you can see that Danny is a part of it too, he's also salty and childishly sarcastic every now and then. He's probably been like that before, but when he has a position it's not only immature but additionally unexemplary and patronizing (and I still have experienced him as a lot more composed person before his promotion. He was a friend for me, now he's not). Power can get into some people's heads, it's a known fact. He is also not made a scapegoat for your common decisions, he was made responsible for pulling out the iron fist singlehandledly the moment he came online.

  9. The immaturity problem is undeniable, and what you two have decided is an evasive measure that brings no real improvement but also affects people who had barely anything to do with it, e.g. ShadowStar. The same (or in fact, a lot worse) would be the case with a long hiatus. We don't need a hiatus, we need to see the problem on its deepest root, and we need both purposefulness and patience. And for what it's worth, the complaints about unbalancedness were not only few but also very controlled. Uniquely named townies are a bad idea, well let's avoid it then.

  11. Also regarding you as game masters, the fact that I experienced you both as overly authoritarian and power-hungry is also on the back of the previous leniency and inconsequency for sure, but that's not everything. You should not singlehandledly make fundamental decisions without hearing opinions from the people that have to bear them. This goes for every other part of forum staffing too. Danny hasn't behaved like having an inferior staff position restricted to one subforum, he has behaved like ruling and owning this one subforum and its scene, and you've supported his exceeded level of authority. You have also banned all kinds of revival or medium roles, no ifs, no buts. I'm not well informed on the past but I don't have the feeling that this was the case with the prior GMs Spinda and FallingSnow. As a bit of comparison, it was proscribed for the former level judges to overly moderate and slam down rules in the levels subforum, their prime task was judging and sorting levels. I also think that since you're only two people, and very close as friends, you automatically develop too much of a mutual consensus and "esprit de corpse", for this reason there should be a few more GMs so you have some more very different people.

  13. (also I don't wanna bother but I really don't understand at all why TNT can get off scot-free again, according to "no punishments for M39". He's a repeated offender and his rulebreaking in the game should be obvious enough)
