- [19:49] Anastasia leads the two of them back inside, her hand briefly trailing down to slide a finger into her husband's hand as she moved. "The change that I desired for it required a material of ice that we did not have at the time. So it was created with it's addition in mind."
- "Now we have it, it can finally be completed."
- "The basic idea behind it is the core of water that is already within the trident provides the water that this ice attuned badge will then freeze. Aeglos' three spear tips are designed to be made solely of this ice, and they can even be fired outwards as if they were bullets, though they are more akin to arrows then bullets." Anastasia explains, taking out a small box and opening it to reveal the freezing, slender piece of frozen metal. Frigid vapors waft upwards and over the sides of the small box that contained it, spilling outwards across the work table of the Aertas home before finally dissipating.
- "That, is the change that I would like to see at least. Bruno may have more planned than just that."
- (Anastasia pyr Aertas)

- [19:59] Bruno allowed his wife to explain how the weapon functioned in layman's terms, though there was much more to it than that. The circuitry employed, the system upon each and every single one of Bruno's creations relied upon was one that was important in this craft. More important than it had been upon Ryker's blade, even.
- "I do have more than that in mind. The metaphysical runes that were applied to bring back the weapon into your hands can be amplified. Achlys' influence is a dark one, but it seemed to help against that type of magic when it came to Ryker's own weapon. I believe that I can push the trident's ability to be yours and yours alone to a whole new level.
- .. If you want to use your fragment that way."
- His right hand reaches out for a thermal glove while his left reaches out for Anna herself.
- For Aeglos.
- (Bruno pyr Aertas)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [20:01] Anastasia naturally places Aeglos into his hand without hesitation.
- (Anastasia pyr Aertas)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [20:07] "Ah, I think I know where you are getting at brother," she chimes. This was not her first rodeo in tying one's soul to a weapon of choice. Though her previous attempts were not as soul-touching as using Achlys' crystal on any runes needed for the process, she figured the steps taken would be similar, if not the same. "I can be of help with that if you need."
- With her hands rising upon her hips, a curious glance would land upon the trident. Its design already being taken into account as Amelia stands somewhat intrigued toward the ice tips. "And if these fragments of ice are launched, the water just seeps outward, the emblem freezes them in place, and essentially that is how replacement occurs?" Perhaps it was a good prospect, garnering a nod from Amelia. "Sounds good. It will likely need a few reconnections to the runic wiring Bruno laid upon it, but it is in the scope of feasibility."
- (Amelia Locke pyr Aertas)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [20:15] Anastasia, after placing the trident into Bruno's hand, gains a pensive expression. The fragment of Achlys.. She hadn't expected him to want to use it for the trident. A slow nod comes from her, though before she can speak up, she looks over towards Amelia as she spoke.
- A pensive hum comes from her before she looks back towards Bruno. "Use it. I am interested in seeing what you've come up with." She says, moving away from the duo to retrieve the fragment of achlys as she didn't know to bring it down with her when she went to retrieve the sigil of ice from her things.
- Coming back down with it, she sets it on the work table alongside the box that contained the frozen badge that was already present.
- (Anastasia pyr Aertas)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [20:26] Bruno spun the trident within his grasp deftly before it's placed upon the table, empty receptacle facing the ceiling. His sister's comment about the wiring was a valid one, one he'd address.
- "Yes, sister. I believe handling the circuitry and reinforcing it with your expertise is going to be necessary for what I have in mind. I've been using Lyndis' own design as an example on how to properly connect elements. It had been quite useful."
- But Amelia was even greater. She had built synthetic lifeforms of her own. Her work upon Aeglos would be exceptional by all means.
- "Make sure every bit of the physical weapon is connected, too." He stated, ensuring that his own plans wouldn't be ruined by a small mistake.
- While this happened the young man took it upon himself to put on his thermal glove to better manipulate and analyze the odd freezing badge.
- (Bruno pyr Aertas)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [20:33] With the job presented, Amelia would snap her gloved right fingers as two small synthetic familiars would appear out from her jacket. One of which bore a set of leather working gloves which she keenly places over her runic control gloves.
- Perhaps the double stacking of leather and rubber will protect her hands from the cold. But then again, cold was little to no bother to her.
- "I believe that I can do," she exclaims before stepping forward, prepared to work as metal and conductive tools would be produced.
- With her brother keenly handling the frigid badge, the older Aertas would take the opportunity to momentarily rupture the current flow of mana among the runes, allowing for a new connection to be opened. Sparks of electricity blistered outward from a metal pen as her attunement to lightning would prove useful in reangling runes.
- Soon enough, a space right by where the three prongs of the weapon diverge would be completed. It was as if the badge would snuggly fit upon it. "Okay brother, I need you to hold it right about here and I will see about placing it into the circuitry," she comments. Welding the badge onto the weapon would be the easy part; reconnecting it to the runes to rise upward and influence the water coursing within would be what needs more attention.
- (Amelia Locke pyr Aertas)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [20:49] With his pre-emptive preparation for such an item to be added and Amelia's own idea being the same as his it was clear to anyone watching that the Aertas family's craftsmanship was further magnified when they all worked together. If Matryona was here as well there was no doubt their creation would be able to take over the world. As it stood, however, it would remain but a work of a art.
- The cold badge within Bruno's grasp is held up and a few ethereal circles appear to spin around it, to further gather information on it to ensure there would be no occult taint to the material due to its origin.
- It would not be long before he placed it at the indicated location. His free hand already stabilizing the trident itself to prevent it from moving.
- "Do you recall when we went to those ruins? The... ability granted upon meβ I've seen it more than once. After having seen the realm Achlys has created for himself it inspired me. I thought thatusing a fragment of his power, metaphysical runes that are already applied and return the weapon at Anna's command, as well as a glyph that tears through space itself we could have the weapon able to be stored within a small pocket dimension of its own. This would prevent it from being stolen."
- (Bruno pyr Aertas)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [20:57] As the badge finds its eventual place for millennia's to come, Amelia would be quick in cleanly binding the piece onto the weapon itself; first physically, then runically.
- Lightning swiftly melted parts of the metal as the Aertas' own ice would freeze it just as fast, allowing the emblem to be fastened almost immediately; taking Amelia only but a minute or so in the process.
- With that out of the way? Next came that of the runic wiring and its reattachment to the new aspect of the trident. The rebinding of the circuitry was no problem to the artificer as there would be the occasional spots of speech coming through her lips from the unneeded focus she had welled up.
- "Hmmmm," she hums as the thought of Achlys being that of an... inspiration, was somewhat something Amelia would seem divided with. On one hand, the potential it had seem to be quite big. Yet on the other? She had was not sure if seeing a Primordial like Achlys as an inspiration was exactly... healthy. But who knows, she definitely didn't. "That does sound promising. At the very least, the wielder will never be found without their weapon in any circumstance."
- And with a few mere seconds, a sudden shift in the room's temperature would signify that the Ice Badge would become presently apart of Aeglos. The shifting water from the trident seems to shift between solid to liquid in flashes of seconds, likely due to the lack of a wielder properly manipulating the piece at the moment. Yet this should be a telling sign that the process has been utterly successful, if not for Amelia stepping back with a pleased look upon her face.
- (Amelia Locke pyr Aertas)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [21:12] Bruno allowed his sister to finish welding the badge upon the trident, his hand washing over the metal, allowing it to crawl over the iceborn artifact and protect it while embracing the sigil of their family.
- He awaited as the wiring was bring re-made, his focus now brought upon the fragment of Achlys that was present in the room. While it had been used as a focus, as a source of power, and as a way to taint ammo in other weapons its use on this one would be quite different. Its properties would remain forever embedded into the weapon, yet its physical state would be no more.
- With Amelia's work done the second youngest of the bunch began tracing runes, which soon turned to glyphs set atop the functioning returning enchantments. A deeper breath is taken before Bruno speaks down low.
- "Step back."
- Eyes went shut soon after as the occultist decided to delve deeper into that memory he'd seen before, the one where Hades Task had to fight hisown brother. The glyphs that were written whenever he opened a rift in order to step away and avoid damage. The very same Bruno had repeated in those ruins, the same that had damaged both Amelia and Anastasia at once.
- Occult energies began spilling from him as the strong influence of such a vile art, one that went against nature itself was being forcefully pulled from his memory. Repeated, re-written, and bent to produce a result that would be satisfactory.
- Of course neither he, nor Anastasia was a riftmancer. While the right glyphs may be present there was no way they would match Kalethos' teleportation or Hades' quick steps through space itself. What they did possess, however, was a fragment of the divine being's power. Of Achlys who's mastery of riftmancy was far above either of those beings.
- With his left hand holding onto the crystal he began focusing its powers unto the glyphs. To allow them to remain active, regardless of how little he truly knew about the arts. It was but an imitation. Stolen power. Stolen knowledge. All put in the service of the Machine.
- As time passed the hungry influence of Azrael's son was poured into the metaphysical runework. With any chance the weapon would serve its purpose.
- This definitely left him exhausted.
- (Bruno pyr Aertas)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [21:18] There was a glare of interest and utter intrigue upon her brother's process. She has touched and tapped upon a fragment of Achlys multiple times by now. Yet only now would she witness its uses on an abstract and metaphysical state.
- She herself has mostly tapped upon the crystal on the most concrete and physical ways. Crushing it to powder, integrating it into a system, and other similar processes.
- But now? As an aspect of a rune and tapping right into its core? This was something a bit out of her ballpark.
- Yet, she did not make a peep. After all, she only understood what was physically present. Anything else, be it the dark nature of rifting or the shadowed true name of Achlys, all that was beyond her knowledge.
- Maybe that was for the best.
- Almost as an instinct, with her brother completing the deed, her hands immediately find themselves in motion of a gesture. Two of her synthetic robots would be quick to grasp onto one of the nearby chairs, sliding it across the wooden floor as it ends right by Bruno's legs, allowing for a comfortable seat being offered.
- (Amelia Locke pyr Aertas)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [21:20] Bruno stepped back and was on his way to hit a wall before a chair came right behind him to take his rear seat-first. A breath escaped his lips and his head hung rather low. His left hand was now... empty.
- But what remained before them was no longer a mere trident, was it?
- "What do you think, Anna?"
- (Bruno pyr Aertas)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [21:41] Anastasia watched on in silence as the two of them worked. Some people may have not been able to sit still and watch, but she had that patient understanding that she treated most with. This situation now was certainly no different.
- Even some of the core fundamentals being used to improve the trident now was beyond her, she could offer nothing more than another pair of hands to carry tools or materials to and fro. However, not even that was truly necessary here. So instead of being in the way, she merely stepped to the side, watching from the side of the workshop as Bruno and Amelia worked together in order to accomplish something greater than what had been made before.
- Her practical knowledge of what effect the runes already had for the trident allowed her some vague guesses as to what it was he was trying to achieve, but in all honesty?
- She had no idea. Laymen's terms do her no good here.
- Regardless, she watched on with interest, her trident being something supremely important to her. Something that will carry on through her family line for generations. She hopes, at least.
- "It looks like, it worked?" She asks him, not quite certain of the success behind the application of the fragment. At least the addition of the frozen badge wasn't as uncertain, since it's results would be easily tested and seen immediately. "I am hopeful that the outcome would be something worthy of this House."
- (Anastasia pyr Aertas)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [21:42] Bruno offered a small nod towards his wife, taking a few more moments to collect his thoughts before blue eyes laid upon her brown own.
- "Do you think Aeglos is still the right name for it?"
- (Bruno pyr Aertas)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [21:47] She nods, mostly toward the notion of its worth. "More than worthy of this House. Three Aertas's has placed a hand in the creation of this piece. That alone should give it worth." Pride brimming, enough to always flaunt when it came to the field of artificing.
- Yet upon the questionability of its name, Amelia fell silent. If her previous suggestions to other weapons were anything to go off of, it was probably best to keep her lips sealed for now, allowing the couple to present their cases.
- (Amelia Locke pyr Aertas)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [21:57] Anastasia smiles towards Amelia for a moment, though she soon lapses into a quiet, thoughtful silence.
- Aeglos had been a name of her choosing, a name she had come up with on the spot for a weapon that she considered hers. However, this trident? It will be more than just her weapon. She will want it to become a symbol for their House. A symbol of the Aertas.
- That requires a more appropriate name.
- After a moment longer of pensive silence, Anastasia speaks up.
- "Glacies Adstricta. A fitting name for the symbol this weapon shall become."
- (Anastasia pyr Aertas)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [21:59] Bruno slowly rises up from his chair after the name is uttered, properly taking a look at the craft he, his wife, and his sister had worked together upon. A fine piece of art. One that was meant to be part of their family, now.
- A relic of the Aertas, certainly.
- "Then it shall be."
- (Bruno pyr Aertas)
