42. Sora's world is shattered when a violent storm hits his home, and is seperated from his two closest friends. The storm scatters the three to unknown worlds. At the same time, there is turmoil in the Disney Castle. King Mickey is missing, and Court Wizard Donald and Captain Goofy are out to find him. On their travels they meet Sora, on his own search for his lost friends. The three are told of ominous creatures called Heartless, being without hearts derived from an unknown dimension and are the ones responsible for the devastating storm. The Disney villians, enticed by the power of darkness, manipulate the Darkness to help them gather the princesses of heart, who are needed to open a mysterious final door. Upon discovering the link between the Heartless, the storm, and the disappearance of King Mickey, Sora, Donald, and Goofy join forces and help familiar Disney heroes to save their worlds from the Heartless.
 43. When a boy named Sora loses his home, he understands he has to visit many worlds to restore peace to the universe.
 44. This is a game that you wouldn't really have much expectations for, when it was first announced every one I talked to was saying it was going to be one of the worst games ever because it is a mixture of Final Fantasy and Disney, and who can blame them it sounds completely absurd. However it might of been crazy but it worked. Tetsuya Nomura created one of the best games ever.

The game play is wonderful, the characters are lovable, and the story is far from stupid. We start out on an Island called Destiny Islands as a boy named Sora. We meet his friends Kairi and Riku and together they all have a plan to leave the island in search of new worlds. Meanwhile Donald Duck at the Disney Castle finds the King is gone and with the help of Goofy they go out to find the key that the King instructed them to find so they can save their worlds. That is where Sora comes in. When his world is sucked into darkness he escapes to Traverse Town and meets Donald and Goofy then learns the blade he carries is known as the Keyblade a blade that can lock any lock or unlock. So now he goes on many adventures with Donald and Goofy to many Disney worlds to stop the Heartless and to find his friends and stop the darkness that threatens all worlds, and maybe learn who is behind it.

The game is filled with great CGI effects, we see all these great battles and are just plainly fun. Anyone who plays this game can tell you that this game is great, you get to fight all these villains Disney and new alike and get to enjoy the story which includes Final Fantasy characters like Leon, Yuffie, Cid, and more. If you get this game then you can have a great time. You will find yourself immersed into a great game with many worlds that bring the story to life, filled with great battle sequences, and loving characters. Kingdom Hearts is one of the best games ever made.
 45. First thoughts when I heard the words Disney and Squaresoft.

"Oh my god no!"

But, as I watched the preview for Kingdom Hearts on the bonus disc in Final Fantasy X, my faith in Squaresoft (sorry...Square Enix) was quite suddenly restored. I then spent every waking moment following my mother around and begging her to buy this game for me. When she did, just looking at the cover (my initial reaction was "ooh shiny") doubled my faith in the company and their decision. Playing through the game I found, that even the most annoying Disney characters (Donald and Goofy) can grow on you, and you even find yourself in awe of what Square Enix have done with their own characters. Cloud in the Colliseum for example. Is it just me or has he been taking fashion tips from Vincent Valentine? The graphics are beautiful, the gameplay is excellent, the choice of weapon is unique, (name me three more games that have the hero fighting with a giant key) the worlds are all different, (Halloween Town rules) the storyline is engaging and the characters are addictive.

Buy this game, you would never regret it, don't dismiss it just because of the word "Disney." Its a game for everyone from 2 to....God only knows.

10/10

*****/*****

 47. There isn't one. Try www.gamefaqs.com for tips on boss fights, finding items, etc. You can't. Just keep going to him, even though he isn't always there he'll always appear after a few tries. For the Final Mix version, this problem was fixed, so you can return to him anytime you revisit that area. 1. Kingdom Hearts Chi (takes place long before the events of Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, right before the events of the Great Keyblade War)

2. Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep (Prequel to the original, set 10 years before Kingdom Hearts 1)

3. Kingdom Hearts

4. Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories

5. Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days (Begins at the finale of Kingdom Hearts 1, runs parallel with Chain of Memories and ends immediately before the beginning of Kingdom Hearts 2)

6. Kingdom Hearts 2

7. Kingdom Hearts: Coded

8. Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance

9. Kingdom Hearts 0.2 Birth by Sleep -A Fragmentary Passage- (the events of the present is a continuation of the secret ending from Dream Drop Distance, while the events of the past from Mickey's story coincides with the ending of Kingdom Hearts 1.)

10. Kingdom Hearts 3 (Whenever it releases of course...) Kingdom Hearts Final Mix is an updated version of Kingdom Hearts that was released near the end of 2002 only in Japan. Although the English audio was kept, Japanese subtitles were used in that version. Along with a few tweaks and improvements in gameplay, the most notable changes were the addition of Kurt Zisa and Sephiroth (which were both originally introduced in the NA version of the original game), new cutscenes (though left silent in the original release), new special heartless (not to mention numerous heartless being re-colored), new Ansem Report pages and a new hidden boss known as Unknown.

In fact the addition of Unknown and the new Ansem Reports were meant to reference plot elements in the later releases (particularly Kingdom Hearts II). While originally released in Japan, it was not released worldwide into the later release of Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix in September 2013, nearly 11 years later for the Playstation 3 when it was remastered in High Definition. a5c7b9f00b
