- After a while of warming himself by the fire Xin turned his attention to the earthen walls around him. There was a certain, well, glimmer to them now that the fire was roaring.
- As the flames danced back and forth the swordsman swore he saw something against the wall. Right about chest level. At first it looked like that of an old hole.
- However, curiosity peaked and thusly the swordsman ventured forward. Approaching the wall he'd lightly press his hand against the area where said hole was. In doing so he felt a bit of give under his palm.
- With a risen brow the swordsman pushed a bit harder. Upon which the stone beneath his had slide back into a chamber. What sounded like gears began to turn and shift. Creaking and groaning against the effort.
- Having taken a step back the swordsman let his left hand fall to his top sword. Taking stance just in case the swordsman prepared himself for what came next.
- Which was simply that of a very old door openingonly part of the way. A plum of dust escaped from the maw of said opening. The air was stale and void of moisture.. It had been trapped for several hundreds of years.
- With a cautious step forward the swordsman pressed his gaze inward. There was little he could see given the darkness within. Taking a step back Xins smile began to grow. This was it! This was the place he knew had to be up there, waiting for him.
- This would be the place to start his new life.
