- Opening notes:
- ++++++++++++++
- I have no idea if the script I got was the original, or had work done already, but nearly every sign needed reworking, and almost
- all of them were redone from scratch, hence the time it took to do this.
- The base script wasn't too bad, but there was a lot of imprecise clipping, drifting tracks, and multiple frames missing from some
- areas. Most of the work was spent getting the distortion on the pages of the book right though, because using one \frz angle for
- lines that were visibly creased on the page wasn't going to fly for me. The stupid nature of getting those distortions right is
- presumably why they weren't done in the first place, but I appear to have a clinical case of masochistic tendencies. yey me.
- I apologize in advance for any sorry sucker that has to resample this script to another resolution, because a good few of these
- signs rely on \org tags and multiple inline \frz tags. Blame it on me being lazy and not wanting to manually \fax them proper or
- break up lines.
- Fuck chromatic aberration.

- Cool ascii boxes make me look cool right?

- 1:06-1:11: Calander signs
- "Quit Job" tracking was ok, just needed more precise clipping
- "Get rid of stuff" can't remember if retracking was needed, but font was changed from 'squeaky chalk sound' to 'blzee'. Chalk
- font had too much erosion. Added gradient to text.
- "Bank" needed retrack, and added minor chromatic aberration, henceforth known as 'CA' Same font changes as above apply here too.
- 1:16-1:17: Bank card
- Needed a retrack bad, as there was some serious float for the text, and the mask bled across the lines badly as well. Tweaked
- color slightly too.
- 1:22-1:26: Heres your money
- Needed retrack. The tracking is not as perfect as I would like tbh, but fixing it would take quite a lot of time for effects that
- would not really be noticable. Most of the problem with the tracking on this sign is that the text in the video actualy drifts a
- little in comparison to the envelope, which is what's more noticable, but there is nothing I can do to fix it besides mask the
- entire sign. Decided against CA as the text is pretty light, and adding CA just made things weird. Blur will have to do.
- 1:55-1:58: Another calander
- Same as above calander signs, needed retrack (first frame wasn't tracked), font change, and fixed the clipping. Tweaked blur as
- well.
- 2:27-2:32: Title
- Moved it down a bit, and tried to do some fancy shit and match the paint splatters, but AI wasn't liking the idea, so I gave up.
- 3:38-3:40: Class of 6-2
- Changed font for text to Salernomi to better match the text. Left the numbers as they were though. CA added. Badly.
- 4:55-4:56: For conversations
- Similar to the bank card, needed retracking thanks to the mask drifting off
- 4:59-5:30: notebook
- Luckily, most of these tracked very well. Could be slightly improved, but I have better things to be doing for the entire rest of
- this year. Had to move some of the text around to keep consistency. Again, decided against CA thanks to the movement, which would
- have required manual CA application on each frame. Fuck I hate CA.
- 5:40-5:42: Pleased to meet you
- Matched perspective a bit better, and tweaked blur. Light CA added.
- 5:50-5:52: Come again please ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
- Fixed placement and tweaked blur/color gradienting
- 5:52-5:55 *
- Added these signs in, probably didn't need to, and QC will likely reveal similar signs that I should add.
- 8:47-8:48: Whatchu talking bout willis?
- Fixed the abhoorent perspective, and manually tracked the sign. This is the first example where distortion across the page comes
- in,
- and luckily, it was possible with just some \frz tweaking.
- 11:14-11:17: Mitoko sign language
- Fixed perspective, added blur and tweaked colors.
- 12:17-12:32: Chalkboard
- Moved text around to be consistent, and fixed clipping.
- 12:55-12:59: Thank you
- Added in missing frames, tweaked blurring by adding second layer, and fixed clipping issues. Who decided the text is on the
- bottom in the first part, then on top for the second? Fixed that and added perspective and blurring.
- 14:10-14:11: The Rippest
- Moved text around, tweaked blurring, and added CA
- 14:49-14:51: I'm sorry
- Fixed some of the sizing and overlapping frames, and manually set perspective/distortion for each frame. Also retracked.
- 18:05-18:08: Conversations notebook
- Set distortions properly, centered text right, and retracked. Moved the bottom part down to look better and added clipping.
- The kind of odd tracking on the bottom part is mostly due to tracking two seperate halves of the page, and it matches the way
- the page moves well enough.
- 18:14-18:17: Dumbass
- This one set of signs wasted a good week of my life and I actually hate myself for having done it. An enormous amount of
- perspective/distortion needed to be applied here, and it went through multiple iterations using \org and various other ways
- before I settled on the current set. The heart drawing is actually a bit too clean, but it works well enough. I'm pleased with
- the result though. Font on the Dumbass sign was changed from Stereoscope to Brankovick. If you aske me to go back and add more
- CA to this set of signs I will reach through the internet and slap you.
- 19:06-19:10: Mizuho Bank
- Added missing frames, properly tracked it, and fixed the blur fading.
- 22:18-22:24: Get lost
- This one was weird, as it does seem to fade in faster than the rest, but it's really just because it's light text fading in over
- a dark background. Fixed the tracking, positioning, and clipping. Tweaked perspective to fit better too.
- 23:09-23:12: Sign language class
- I dunno what whoever did this masking was smoking, but simple is almost always better. Especially with liberal application of
- blur. Fixed the clipping as well.
- 24:30-24:32: More notebooks
- This one was a right pain to track right, because mocha hates nothing more than fast rotations. So most of the initial track was
- done by hand, with mocha on the assist for the last part. Fixed the line breaks so that the text matches earlier signs, and
- fixed the perspective proper too. I tried to use as little distortion as possible to help with tracking, which thankfully
- worked. No CA added. Blur will have to do again. Added in the missing frames as well.
- 26:52-26:54: Money back
- Fixed what I presume to be framedrift, and unbroke the lign to match the earlier sign.
- 29:45-29:48: Jerk
- I feel like someone was in the middle of setting this one when I got the script, so I fixed the track, moved it to where it is
- more visible, and clipped out for the spotlight.
- 35:05-35:07: Miss Baguette
- Fixed the drifting mask for the baguette part, and retracked each part individually to match with the section of paper it's on.
- Tweaked positioning a bit so there is less overlap.
- 42:49-42:51: Even more notebooks
- Added missing frames, fixed perspective, matched text to previous signs, and did a proper track.
- 42:42-44:44: Got balls?
- Shrunk text to fit properly, tracked it, and used a bit of clipping with the masks to get the fade right. The first couple
- frames overlap with the avatar, but it can't be helped.
- 45:21-45:23: Suspension notice
- Masked the whole thing. Saves from having to fuck with CA and blurring as it reaches the bottom of the page.
- 55:45-55:50: Thanks for doing this
- This is one of 3 cell phone screens I couldn't mask thanks to all the text on the bottom of the screen. There wasn't much text
- so simply floating it off to the right didn't look too bad anyways. I did center the text, it looks a bit better than \an6 imo.
- Fixed the tracking, and added a slight gradient to the subject line text.
- 55:52-56:07: Text messages
- These just needed a bit of blur and shadow tweaking. lazy CA, and better tracking and fade outs.
- 58:22-58:23: Meow Meow
- Good enough. Minor blur tweaking. Fixed layers.
- 58:29-58:32: Text messages
- I actually could mask these, so I did. Fixed perspective, and tracked proper.
- 58:42-58:43: Save video
- Forgot what I did here, but it was super minor. Probably clipping and adding a missing frame.
- 59:00-59:02: Meow Meow
- Minor blur tweaks. Fixed layering again.
- 1:00:04-1:00:06: Hearing test room
- Double the sign up to increase the thickness. Blur tweaks.
- 1:04:36-1:04:39: Carp invasion
- Didn't mask this one, but cleaned up perspective, clipping, and tracked it. Added missing frame. For this one, and the next few,
- I swapped the font to Lato, as Odessa has some fucking weird outlines and it makes it look like shit.
- 1:07:14-1:07:17: Yoohoo
- Masked this one.
- 1:07:47-1:07:49: I love you too
- Masked this one.
- 1:07:53-1:07:55: Didn't get through
- Oh look, this one too.
- 1:09:41-1:09:44
- And again.
- 1:13:22
- This is like 3 frames long, but I made it slightly more visible and move a bit.
- 1:24:36-1:24:38: More notebooks
- Fixed the distortion, it's not quite as heavy as the last one was at least.
- 1:28:41-1:28:45: Funeral
- Tweaked blur and retracked. Was blurry enough to avoid CA.
- 1:30:03-1:30:05: Another text message
- Masked this one, and matched the tapping to text appearing.
- 1:40:51-1:40:53: Hospital
- Cleaned up the blurring, added some gradients, and CA. This is by far the best looking CA yet. I wish they were all as good as
- this ;_; Shrunk them a bit too so they were not so squished.
- 1:45:23-1:46:00: I destroy everything
- Simple color tweak. Moved a bit to reduce overlap.
- 1:46:40-1:46:43: ditto
- Same as before, and \faxed it a bit.
- 1:48:15-1:48:41: Big wiggly
- These were mostly good, just needed to add in some missing frames, missing white blurs, and fix the layering. Light color
- shifting.
- 1:57:07-1:57:10: Photo contest
- Masked it over on the left. Much easier than trying to cram it underneath text somewhere.
- 1:57:47-1:57:49: School festival
- Masking was obviously out of the question here, so \an6, moving things around a bit, and some perspective was all that was done.
