[10:07] Yvel would have been fighting many spars in the recent days trying to increase his abilities and improve upon his lightnings strength and while he could combine a few of his techniques to be quite offensive there were still things he lacked in his ability.

Had he wanted to become a master of lightning, and truly embody the element in its full strength he'd have to improve upon his control of it, Strengthen his connection to it.

Yvel remembered the sensation of natural lightning coursing through his body, The feeling of the storm's currents passing through his flesh, and into his mana circuits. It wasn't something that could easily be replicated but in this moment Yvel would aim to do so.

He travled a good ways into the forests away from the sights of the cities and all distractions, Near the surface of a small waterfall nd a lake. He would then begin to think of how to improve upon the abilities he has now. What did he need to further his reach.

[10:13] While Yvel could continue perfecting his cloud casting magic he figured this would merely require him to be adept in his lightning, The thought to temper lightning as those flame magi did to harness their explosions.

Lightning controlled into a single point and then expelled to create a high impact and deadly power. Yvel took it within himself, He had been building resistance to the paralyzing effects his lightning had over his body, No longer feeling numb despite being electrocuted by a storm it was clear to say Yvel could endure the force of his own power.

Yet he would have to amp up the magic levels increasing the lightning to a point where it would be volatile to anyone who was struck by it. He'd remember seeing it in Exarch Stallard's battle at the Syndicate base. She compressed her lightning to her hand a technique perfect for killing quickly and effectively but it wouldn't suit Yvel's style

He needed something larger more potent than a quick strike. Thus Yvel would first start by focusing as much lightning as he could between his palms aiming to compress it and shape it just as he did his javelins and light orbs.

[10:21] His mana circuits and his flesh now volcanized to be used as a conductor of his lightning magic, It easily glided through his body, He'd start with the shock spell, powering it between his two palms, Increasing its force and velocity, Then compressing it making the lighting into a single sphere, He'd breath to excise any nervousness he felt, Aiming to channel his control of Cognitive casting here he'd then focus on the next task.

Increasing the size of the lightning sphere, It crackled and surged with intensity, the more it grew the harder it was to control the harder it was to manipulate yet Yvel continued to pour more and more force into the shape.

His goal was merely to force himself to learn how to control more massive scales of lightning, and with each increment he learned to increase the volume of lightning he could produce.

And once the sphere had gotten tot he size of a large beach ball Yvel thrusted it into the dead center of the lake releasing it all at once, The resounding blast was as one could imagine the shocking powers exploded forwards leaving a large pillar of water to rain down onto the forest floor.

Yvel would place his hand to his chin thinking for a moment on just how he could use this method to increase his next level of training. Now that he had increased the volume of lightning he was able to control now he just needed to improve on how he released it.

[10:28] Foraging a head Yvel would make targets out of boulders he'd found lying around, He'd then gather himself, remembering the basics of his lightning magic and how he came to create it, The build up of kinetic energy gathered within his body.

Something that would be far too dangerous for the average magi to attempt but Yvel had been training most of his adult life to be able to resist these effects. Internally lightning flowed more strongly than ever using his mana circuits to create a live wire of lightning within himself. A nexus of static built up around him, He let his aura free charging himself with lightning magic before he focused on the main goal.

"I've been too kind hearted, and been reducing the power of my lightning...and while I do not wish to hurt anyone truly I have to be prepared to."

Yvel spoke to himself as he prepared for the first attempt at his new spell, Sparks flew form his hands, and soon they became ribbon like streams of lightning that wrapped and strangled around Yvel.

Soon those very same strands combined and tangled in with one another. And Yvel released his first volley of attacks, He continued throughout the night until he was exhausted. Flashing bolts and bursts of lightning until he craved into the boulders with a wave of sheer lightning.

[10:35] Yvel continued practicing, Tempering his lightning into a variation of both natural and modified lightning that he called 'Pure Lightning' It had immense potential and with the slightest flick Yvel had learned to conjure it within his mana circuits until he felt comfortable using this variation.

Expunging any magical effects it focused purely and solely on the destruction of the target leaving only a devastating impact upon the target.


This was done by Yvel charging the nature of his mana to negatively and positively charge the electrons to create a field of electricity surrounding him. Similarly to his cloud manipulation magic he'd learned to control the very atmosphere itself especially around his immediate area.

And as he gathered more lightning from within the surrounding particles he'd discharge it quickly the pure lightning was unrivaled in its destructive force and despite how Yvel felt about using this on a person he knew it would be come quite capable in his battles to come.

For now Yvel would focus on shaping and molding this new variation of lightning so he could better evolve the rest of his skills.
