  1. Meijin's Magnificent Rockman EXE 6 ModCard Tournament (May 7th 2017)

What is it: A casual Player versus Player tournament using the Japanese versions of Mega Man Battle Network 6: Cybeast Gregar/Falzar, Rockman EXE 6, in which participants use modcards to further enhance the abilities of MegaMan. The tournament will adhere roughly to the N1GP's Tournament Format 3 rules and will be hosted on the N1GP Discord server.

  8. You can register for the tournament by typing "!event register <name>" in the N1GP Discord server, without actually typing the <>.

  10. Prizes: A pat on the head for the winner. The Tournament Organizer is unwilling to pay for any travel expenses in order to hand out this prize.

  12. Goal: To provide the participants and eventual spectators with enjoyable netbattles and to have the international Battle Network PvP community further explore ModCards play. Players are encouraged to experiment with new setups to seize victory with rather than relying on previously built setups.

  14. How: Players will use the VBALink emulator with a Japanese version of the game, either Rockman EXE 6: Dennōjū Gureiga or Rockman EXE 6: Dennōjū Faruzā. Players are allowed to use a translation patch as found in the N1GP community onedrive link below. Connecting with each other will be done through Hamachi, on the N1GP Hamachi server on top of using the VBALink emulator.

  18. Contains a download for the emulator in question. The EXE6 folder contains relevant save states for the Japanese version of the game as well as translation patches. It is recommended to download Hamachi from its official website instead: https://www.vpn.net/

  20. When: May 7th 2017 at 11 AM EDT (Eastern Daylight Time, make sure to properly convert this time to your local timezone in order to find out the precise date). Registration for the tournament opens April 30th and will close at 9 AM EDT May 7th 2017.

  25. Additionally, the following ModCards are banned altogether: Coldman, Toadman, Magnetman and Starfish/Hitodesta.

  27. The tournament system determining the match ups will be decided on a later date, depending on how many participants apply.

  29. Participants are required to record and share their matches with the Tournament Organizer. Additionally, participants must submit a list detailing their folders, ModCard setup and the used NaviCustomizer parts to the Tournament Organizer.
