Hi everyone, I hope you guys all are having a fantastic night. I can’t believe this night is already here. Can we please have a round of applause for Bob and Harrian, and for Gary and Barbara and of course for Sam and Jeremy.
I just want to start off by saying how much of an honor it is that I was chosen to be standing by your side tomorrow night. You and Sam both look incredible tonight and I’m sure tomorrow night will be even more spectacular.
When Jeremy first asked me to be his best man, I was really excited and honored. But then, reality set in. I had never been a best man in a wedding let alone had I ever been in a wedding party. I had no idea what to do or what was expected of me and boy was I in for a surprise. But, in the end, I think that everything has ended up working out exactly as planned.
I’ve been told by some people that I need to include how I met Jeremy. I think I have quite the interesting story. Jeremy was just a little baby at the time and I had just finished a 9-month long expedition and finally saw the light. Yes, I was born. If it wasn’t obvious enough, I’ve known Jeremy pretty much since day one of my life.
Anyways, enough jokes. Some people expect me to poke fun at the groom and while I’d love to do that, I think he gets enough of that from me in general, so I’m going to try to focus on the great qualities of Jeremy.
First, let’s talk about how Jeremy looks. He’s been pretty focused for about 6 months on looking the best he possibly can. I think he’s easily accomplished that because you look killer man. Anyways, when we were younger, you can ask anyone in the family about how close we were. The reason for that is our family in general. Everyone in our family is incredibly close. I’ve been told time and time again that people wish they had a family as close knit as ours. I think that’s why it was so natural for Jeremy and I to be close as well as it’s really all we’ve ever known. Then a period in my life happened where I was unable to talk to Jeremy. He did nothing wrong to me and the reason is not that important. However, the reason I mention this is Jeremy never gave up. He always tried contacting me and reaching out to me until I finally was able to talk to him. It’s a great quality that not many people have. People will just give up when they don’t get what they want. Not Jeremy. He will work and work and work until he accomplishes his goal. I’ve seen it time and time again with him and it’s still something that I can say that I see to this day. It doesn’t matter if it’s family, school, work, himself or Sam, Jer will make sure that whatever he wants to get done, gets done.

And then of course, there is Jeremy’s humor. Anyone who has ever met Jeremy knows at least one thing. His humor. He can make any group of people laugh no matter what their sense of humor is. It doesn’t matter if I’m sitting on the phone ranting to him and as angry as I can be or if I’m talking to him about something that upset me. He can always find a way to cheer someone up no matter what their mood is. I think that along with Jeremys dedication to getting things done is what made Sam really fall for Jeremy in the first place.
Speaking of which, I am really glad that my cousin made the decision to get married to you Sam. As I said earlier, we have a very close family and I honestly believe that most people wish they had what we have. That’s why I’m so glad to welcome you and the rest of the Nuisnow family to the Kolko family! You’re genuinely a great person that makes Jeremy the happiest man in the world and I couldn’t be happier that I get to call you my cousin tomorrow. I wish you both the best! Can we all raise our glasses to Jeremy and Sam and just say that we all wish you all the best that life has to give to you.
