  51. What can we draw from this?
  52.  
  53. 1) Cloud's jab 3 and dash attack are his best (and only really practical) moves for knocking the Luma away horizontally. However both are unsafe on block and can be easily punished out of shield by Rosa with moves like grab or USmash. Dash attack, however, sends the Luma very far due to its absurdly high BKB.

  55. 2) Cloud's main horizontal hitting aerials are not particularly effective at knocking the Luma away. NAir in particular being the worst of the bunch. The Luma will need a decent amount of prior damage in order to get rid of it effectively.

  57. 3) Cloud has a good handful of relatively practical moves to knock Luma upwards such as UTilt, DTilt, late DAir and UAir (once you've tacked on some prior damage). Consequently an effective strategy vs the Luma would be to launch it with one of said moves, then relentlessly juggle it with UAir until you can knock it away with BAir. This allows you to remain mobile and safe provided you place your moves correctly and not predictably.

  59. 4) All of the Limit specials can swiftly eradicate the Luma, but of course this means expending Limit and it's a lot easier for Rosa to get another Luma than for Cloud to get Limit as it requires zero effort on the Rosa's part (simply a waiting game). Furthermore, Limit Blade Beam can be completely nullified by Gravitational Pull.
