  5. A man presents himself in front of a Sufi Saint (Ali Hajveri) and seeks advice. He laments his state and says he's fragile like glass, and he can't live peacefully with enemies surrounding him from all sides. To this, the saint replies that if a stone starts considering itself glass, it will eventually transform into a stone. The stone needs to awaken its latent power (Khudi) and realise that those enemies are rather a blessing. They're the "raunaq" of his bazaar, as they help realise his full capabilities and strengths.

  7. I love this part: Iqbal gets the saint to ask the man what death is. It's not the parting of the soul from the body; it's the slumber of Khudi. It's a beautiful way to look at it.

  19. These two chapters are stories. The first one is about a bird who's thirsty and pecks at a diamond, thinking it's water, and the second one is a conversation between a piece of coal and a diamond. I found the first one ridiculous. The second one was okay... But it's a silly and absurd story with many inconsistencies.

  25. Another narrative. Repetitive. I have nothing to add or say.

  32. Basically, the summary of this chapter is that trying to invade other countries for your own lust and desire is Haram. Nothing more.
  33. Next chapter!
