  1. This is a romhack where type effectiveness is inverted. For example, Electric-type moves are super-effective against Ground and Grass types, but not very effective against Water and Flying types.
  2.
  3. Torchic is the clear starter choice, as it owns Roxanne's gym and doesn't struggle anywhere except on Flannery. Routing notes below.
  4.
  5. -DEFENSE BENEFITS
  6. - Rival 2 (probably)
  7. - Wattson
  8. - Maxie 1 (very important)
  9. - Flannery (probably)
  10. - Maxie 2
  11. - Archie
  12.
  13. -SP. DEF BENEFITS
  14. - Rival 1/Calvin
  15. - Roxanne's gym (probably)
  16. - Brawly
  17. - Norman
  18. - Phoebe
  19.
  20. THE ROUTE
  21. - Manip +Sp. Atk?
  22.     > 2590 | Mild 22/29/17/30/28/24 (female)
  23. - Having a better Fire move than Ember/Blaze Kick would REALLY help. Fire Punch might be fine; it's barely enough damage for the late game. Flamethrower is very expensive
  24. - Moveset:
  25.     > Ember/Scratch/Peck/Double Kick
  26.     > Ember/Strength/Peck/Double Kick
  27.     > Ember/Strength/Overheat/Double Kick
  28.     > Ember/Strength/Overheat/Blaze Kick
  29.     > Earthquake/Strength/Overheat/Blaze Kick
  30. - Brawly: Same
  31. - Rival 2: 2HKO all
  32. - Wattson: Same, but Peck Magneton
  33. - Maxie 1: +2 Blaze
  34. - Flannery: +1 Blaze (Charcoal)
  35. - Norman: +2 Blaze (Overheat Slaking, then Facade)
  36. - Winona: +1/2 Attack (Skarmory Strength range)
  37. - Maxie 2: Swampert strats (bad fight because of Bite damage and Blaze Kick accuracy)
  38. - T&L: Can 4-turn the fight if you save Claydol for last and Blaze Overheat it... but those are very slow turns because of EQ
  39. - Items to sell for Flamethrower:
  40.     > Carbos (Route 114)
  41.     > Nugget (Route 112)
  42.     > Protein (Route 111 desert)
  43.     > PP Up (Route 115, Abraless only)
  44.     > Zinc (Route 121)
  45.     > PP Up (Lilycove City)
  46.     > TM04 Calm Mind
  47.     > TM40 Aerial Ace
  48.     > TM42 Facade
  49. - Skip Rayquaza? If using Blaziken:
  50.     > Final moveset: Flamethrower/Strength/Overheat/Earthquake
  51.     > Can probably afford Flamethrower before E4; earlier requires selling stuff
  52.     > You can try using Blaze Kick, but basically every run dies to misses
  53.     > Juan: Depends on order (everything except Sealeo dies to +0 Blaze, and Sealeo dies to Overheat)
  54.     > Roselia: EQ (range)
  55.     > Claydol: EQ or Blaze FT
  56.     > Julie: FT x2, EQ
  57.     > Edgar: EQ x2
  58.     > Wally: FT x3, Strength Magneton, EQ Roselia
  59.     > Sidney: Kill slave, FT x3, EQ x2 (requires Blaze)
  60.     > Phoebe: X Special, FT x5 (requires Blaze)
  61.     > Glacia: X Special x2, FT x4, Overheat (requires Blaze, which is tricky because of Hail)
  62.     > Drake: X Speed, FT x5 (does not require Blaze; can maybe outspeed Salamence at L57)
  63.     > Champion: Depends on order (everything except Ludicolo dies to +0 Blaze, and Ludicolo dies to Overheat)
  64. - If using Rayquaza:
  65.     > Juan: 5-turn fight (Surf or Waterfall Kingdra)
  66.     > Phoebe: Can OHKO everything with Extremespeed, but PP is an issue
  67.     > Glacia: Same fight
  68.     > Drake: Can OHKO everything except Flygon
  69.     > Champion: Can +1 OHKO everything except Whiscash (assuming you can Outrage it)
