  1. L0jlk: hello
  2. MoD: material order desk
  3. L0jlk: yeah, I need to place an order
  4. MoD: oh please hold
  5. L0jlk: sounds like you're playing a video game there
  6. MoD: god I fucking wish
  7. MoD: do you have an account number?
  8. L0jlk: yes hold on just a second, account number is 8672994818
  9. MoD: ok so 4 8 1 8
  10. L0jlk: that's the entire account code right there yeah
  11. L0jlk: and I have a job code when you're ready
  12. MoD: oh shit, you know what happened, I thought he gave you the job code, so let me, hold on
  13. L0jlk: no problem, take your time, no worries
  14. MoD: they did a software upgrade on this damn thing
  15. MoD: ok so you actually want the account number to be, let me get this straight, just read it out to me
  16. L0jlk: account code is 8672994818
  17. MoD: ok so I got 8672994818
  18. MoD: ok so job code?
  19. L0jlk: job code is, and it's about the same length, just to let you know, so it's 830
  20. MoD: ok let's go real slow, 8 3 0
  21. L0jlk: 856
  22. MoD: 8 5 6
  23. L0jlk: 8720
  24. MoD: 8 7 2 0
  25. MoD: so it says that the account number has been consumed
  26. L0jlk: it has, alright I can give you another, do you have an index for me to move up or down?
  27. MoD: well, honestly people call in with all these numbers so I really don't know
  28. MoD: you could just go down the index, and I've had this happen before, cause it's just like a common resource so to speak but most people don't order anything so
  29. L0jlk: what do you mean most people don't order anything
  30. MoD: we don't get a lot of calls about this, I mean, ok
  31. MoD: look off the record, this is my advice, go down at least, and make that the request
  32. MoD: look, this is how it works
  33. MoD: I'm supposed to hang up after it's invalid but I know how it goes, you probably have like a list of things, right? and all you want to do is order something, and I want to help you, I think
  34. L0jlk: so you just want me to go down the list?
  35. MoD: ok this is my advice, and this is off the record, go down maybe 10, or something like that because it is likely that somebody ordered something above and so forth, and this is like how this works, like as you like go down the list that's how I've learned this is that you consume each order code and they're probably used for orders before that because it's like a shared resource so, just pick something that's not shared, maybe something down the list, that's my advice
  36. L0jlk: tell you what, I'll go down about a hundred, how's that sound
  37. MoD: I gues, I really don't know, like literally my job, like I answer the phone, I type in these codes, but I know if the code was used beforehand, by whoever, I can't order, so if you want to go down a hundred, fuck it, do that, I don't know what to tell you
  38. L0jlk: that's what I'm doing
  39. L0jlk: so, starting this over here, the account code is 2 3 9 2 1 1 8 8 7 9
  40. L0jlk: the job code is 7 5 5 1 4 6 9 1 4 0
  41. MoD: ok I need a product code
  42. L0jlk: AB101
  43. MoD: just that?
  44. L0jlk: yeah that's the products code
  45. MoD: ok, it's asking me the name and address
  46. L0jlk: name and address?
  47. MoD: yeah for shipping
  48. L0jlk: ok the address is going to be (redacted)...
  49. MoD: no it's asking me for the name
  50. L0jlk: oh ok the name is (redacted)
  51. MoD: and could I have a last name?
  52. L0jlk: (redacted)
  53. MoD: it's asking for "care of", but it thought you were (redacted)?
  54. L0jlk: yes, you can leave the care of blank yeah
  55. MoD: ok so it's now asking me for the address
  56. L0jlk: that is (redacted) and the street name is (redacted)
  57. MoD: zip code?
  58. L0jlk: (redacted)
  59. MoD: country?
  60. L0jlk: USA
  61. MoD: ok so can you confirm the address please
  62. L0jlk: yes sir address name is (redacted), the address is (redacted)
  63. MoD: USA of course
  64. L0jlk: yes sir
  65. MoD: ok that's been dispatched
  66. L0jlk: do you have a response code? previously there were response codes
  67. MoD: they don't give me any confirmation codes, but I know for a fact when it asked me to
  68. MoD: ok so this is what happened, it transmitted the information you sent me, and asked if it was correct
  69. MoD: and it also mentioned that the code has been consumed, so from that it should be dispatched from that point
  70. MoD: I really don't talk to people after the orders are dispatched
  71. L0jlk: so it's been dispatched
  72. MoD: yeah
  73. L0jlk: alright so if there's nothing else you need from me
  74. MoD: well not at all, I don't think, I mean, I think we're good... if you have another account number...
  75. L0jlk: ok well this is kind of an off the record question, approximately how many other orders have you placed with account and job codes since this device has been installed?
  76. MoD: ok, we receive a lot of orders, I was recently placed on this job, I can't say that I personally have taken a lot of orders, there was another couple individuals that have recieved orders
  77. MoD: I was tasked on this project to sort of receive additional orders on a need basis so to speak, and I'm kind of doing it as a favor, it's not my original job function, you know, I sit on abism and I enter orders and calls and so forth
  78. MoD: I mean we do a lot but it's just what we do
  79. L0jlk: are you in any way related to message desk?
  80. MoD: I know the guy exists, I don't know where he's at, I haven't called him personally, it's been brought up before
  81. L0jlk: ok I didn't understand if you were in the same room or something
  82. MoD: no, if I was in the same room, I'd just, seriously I can't call, I kinda knew what I'm supposed to do, I get paid or whatever, and that's that
  83. L0jlk: no worries man, I was just wondering cause I have a couple of things to do with him and if you're doing the same job function I was wondering if I could run them through you
  84. MoD: no, you know I seriously I log in and I take in account numbers, order codes, that's generally what I do
  85. L0jlk: ok I'm trying to sort out how much of this, cause we're totally on the same page understanding the account and job codes are a public resource so I was just trying to get a mental tally of approximately how much of that list has been consumed, if you knew personally
  86. MoD: this is what I know personally. I know that you can only use things once, and it's a combination too, it has to do with the, you know the job code and the account number. and they seem to be paired.
  87. MoD: and I get this situation occaisionally, where people will call in and they'll give numbers, and it spits back that's been consumed and so forth, and so they kind of get it after a while, well I need to go down the list, I would imagine they have a list of sorts.
  88. MoD: And when the system says it's valid, it's not like I can make it valid, I literally have no control, the system says it's valid. That's the rule, and then after that point I can start typing in more information. But I literally have no control of that. And that's where you can get real frustrated at me.
  89. L0jlk: I completely understand. Actually order codes used to be placed through message desk, and so I'm actually relieved that they seem to have separated the two functions.
  90. MoD: From what I understand, message desk has never been able to do order codes properly.
  91. L0jlk: Right, it was sort of a jerry rigged system yeah?
  92. MoD: Yeah I would imagine so. Some would probably go through, but for the most part they should be going through the material order desk. Seriously, I don't know how you expected to receive an order from a message desk, it's for messages. From what I understand, what J has said, is that the message desk is only supposed to provide messages. No order functions, it's messages, and that's that.
  93. L0jlk: That's pretty much what I gathered before. I'm extremely happy about this development.
  94. L0jlk: I'm kind of wondering, you said you were doing this as a favor to J, I'm wondering about the longevity of your favor. Because I forsee the need to place orders in the future, are you going to be around for a while? Of course not forever, I'm just wondering if this is a service that's going to be disconncted tomorrow or if it's going for some time.
  95. MoD: so you're asking will I have a job tomorrow?
  96. L0jlk: yeah
  97. MoD: I seriously fuckin hope so, but literally right, I really don't know. I really hope so. I answer questions, I do orders. I do a really good job I think at what I do, but I don't know what to tell you. I'm not going to quit my job if that's what you're asking. I hope to always be here for the organization and so forth.
  98. L0jlk: Don't worry about it.
  99. MoD: They've really helped me out, in the recession and so forth, I'm glad to have a job and I do the best I can, I'm sure I'll be around
  100. L0jlk: What is your name?
  101. MoD: I'm seriously like, I've never had this kind of call with somebody before and I'm supposed to not give my name.
  102. L0jlk: ok don't worry about it, it's just good to talk to somebody new
  103. MoD: I really apologize. Occaisonaly they monitor our calls, they seriously record our calls, I could say my name, but then, they'd get a stick up their butt about this.
  104. L0jlk: and we both want you to have a job tomorrow so no worry
  105. MoD: I wish I could, maybe you recognize my voice, I don't know how, I want to give a reference so to speak. Ok, robby, want to call me Robby?
  106. L0jlk: OK
  107. MoD: I just pulled that out of my ass
  108. L0jlk: yeah no worries, I gotcha, well, you know mine so it's good to meet you and talk to you
  109. MoD: what's your name?
  110. L0jlk: (redacted)
  111. MoD: oh yeah, I'm really sorry. You know the problem is, that's actually your real name. That's what cracks me up, because you know, they make up shit, I swear to god. Shift this to here, and it's like, that can't be your real name. It's really nice to meet you (redacted).
  112. L0jlk: you too. I'm sure you'll hear from me in the future, you have a really nice day, thanks for all your help and I guess I'll talk to you soon.
  113. MoD: alright well have a great afternoon, thank you
  114. L0jlk: bye
