Layout:
- cleaner more modern look
- scales optimally from phones to large monitors
- info bar moved to top right (center on mobile)
- hi-res responsive logo

Text:
- font updated to Helvetica Neue  (or system’s sans-serif font) from Verdana
- font size increased to 16/17px
- body text reduced slightly in brightness
- better looking article titles
- new style when printed

Info Bar:
- popup search button
- translations button opens drop-down menu
- dark / bright theme switcher button (sun icon)
- rest of previous items (download, rss, indicators) moved to footer

Bright Theme:
- accessed via the sun icon
- dark text on white background for a lighter feel and easier reading
- replaces the old “Doc Mode,” since most browsers have a Reader Mode  for that now
- available on all website sections now

Navigation:
- menu spans evenly across entire window
- menu collapses to hamburger icon on phones/tablets
- next /previous article arrows appear when on mobile
- proper footer with links and prominent  back to “top” button
- additional “top” and “bottom” arrow buttons appear when on mobile
- expanding category menu in Research Notes allows for more Notes

Content:
- main articles have accompanying images now (also used for twitter / open graph summary cards)
- Research Notes have been merged into main site (allows single search for all, and listing on front page)
- some unpublished Notes were made live (Runes, Thermogravity, Time Travel)
- Research Note called “Boost Your Immune System” has been updated/corrected
- on the Audio/Video page, any absent YouTube vids have been embedded and made full width

Optimization:
- background gradient now made with CSS3 instead of JPG
- most of the code has been rewritten to work better on phone/tablet
- HTML and CSS validated
- more caching for improved speed
