  1. Hi, I made this order a few weeks ago, and I still have not received it, although I paid quite a hefty fee to get this solved within 14 days.
  2.
  3. Talked to FedEx today, and it seems the iLok has been returned to you, and they failed to deliver. They tried to deliver by arriving at my home during office hours, without prior notice (while I was away, like most people are during office hours). They checked if the door to my apartment building was locked, and it was. So they just gave up on the entire thing.

  5. They didn’t send an email, didn’t put a notice in my mailbox. They didn’t call me. They just let the parcel stay at Arlanda airport for a while, and then returned it to you. I didn’t even know the iLok was in the country. I found out by calling them and asking about it, and it had already been returned to you by then.

  7. I’d really appreciate it if you guys could just resend the iLok as fast as possible, preferably with a delivery service that will at least try to get a hold of me before giving up. Because as of right now, I can’t use any of my studio software, and it angers me that the reason for this is completely manufactured and arbitrary. The two-week licenses (which I also paid for, even though it’s my software, and I already own licenses for it) have run out, and I can’t seem to renew them (Or can I? Please tell me I’m wrong here).

  9. So once again, I’m seemingly unable to use my own software that I paid big sums of money for, since my ability to work is blocked by this malfunctioning piece of unrelated, arbitrary, third party DRM hardware. I even unwillingly paid extra to not have this artificial, manufactured problem, yet here I am.
  10.
  11. I’m very sorry about the tone in this email, but I’m so pissed about this right now. Please just fix this asap. I’m blocked, and my company is constantly leaking money because I can’t run the equipment I own and use for work - and it’s all because of the fundamentally artificial, arbitrary and unneeded reliance on this USB-stick - a device which provides a minor service to the software companies, but which basically (and evidently, as in my case) is a potential total lockdown and blocker for the legitimate end-user of the software.
