Let's start with the typical "how did things go since last paste" information to compare what I'd thought then to what actually ended up happening.

October 2016 (Past)

Many good things happened in October; most of them were predicted/planned correctly.  The one thing that fell through - Xenogears - was because I'd forgotten just exactly *how* unforgiving that game is.  Oh well, you can't win 'em all, and everything else was a giant success.  Although, the 500 Follower Special took so long it leaked into November.  XD

November 2016 (Past)
--------------------

Predicted: Dance pad will have been ordered, won't have it yet.  Thus, will be working on New PC incentive.
Actually: That was correct.

Actually: Did do a Social Eating stream.

Predicted: Continue/Finish Xenogears/Monster Hunter 3 Portable
Actually: Neither of those things happened.

I didn't really predict much for November, and it was spotty how it turned out.  I could not have guessed we'd be going to my grandma's for Thanksgiving, so given that that's what occurred, a social eating stream needed to suffice, and it was a pretty decent stream.  With Xenogears having been dropped, and MHP3 not being a thought yet, none of that sort of thing made any kind of progress at all.  The only thing I fully predicted correctly was that I would have the dance pad ordered, but not yet in my possession.

All of this was fine, however, since my 500 Follower Special took MUCH longer than initially thought, and leaked from October into November quite a ways, so for the first half of the month, I was much more concerned with managing to finish the special with my sanity intact than I was with proceeding with other things.

December 2016 (Past)

Predicted: Dance pad will arrive at some point this month; will do first on-foot dance game stream.
Actually: It did, and arrived a day early.  Was so excited I did a stream the moment I got it.

Actually: Naturally, I did it again this year.

December was another good, solid month where things went approximately as I'd thought.  Got the dance pad, started using it, and planned/did the 12 Days of ChristmAce with new material not seen in 2015.  On Christmas Day, I did my first giveaway, and someone won $25 in Steam games (that was their choice, over the Amazon gift card).  The giveaway went without issue.

Current Situation
-----------------

As I sit here on January 7th, there are several important things to note for future reference when looking at this paste months from now to determine exactly where I was at this day:
> I'm at 595 followers as I type this (nearly 600!).
> Today is Mario 3: World 5 Blindfolded.  As in, literally in a few hours, I'll be wearing the blindfold.
> I've already announced an intention to finish charting 10 simfiles in the month of January.  We've started, but overall are still at 0 out of 10.
> We're at $77.01 for the new PC; the World 6 incentive isn't even close to met (a $200 value, meaning it will be unlocked at $250 into the PC incentive, meaning $172.99 to go until that unlocks).

Predictions for the Remainder of January 2017

I don't need to predict that world 5 will be met, it's been met, and I'm about to do it in a few hours.  (What I'll predict, I suppose, is peeks.  I predict I'll need several in 5-2 if I bottom-route, which is likely; I may need one in 5-3, will likely need at least 2 in the Sky Tower, could need one in 5-4, and will probably need one in 5-F2.  That's at least 7, but I'll predict 9 overall.)  Let's move on to things we actually *don't* know for sure yet.

I'm at almost 600 followers, and my follower count is going up relatively swiftly lately.
Prediction: I don't think I'll quite hit 750 *this* month (just being realistic), so I'll stick a prediction for that into February.

We're working on the World 6 Blindfolded incentive as we speak.
Prediction: I don't think we're going to unlock World 6 *this* month either (again, just being realistic) - unless someone donates some ridiculous amount literally TODAY, DURING the blindfolded run, which I just feel is rather unlikely.

There's been talk of building a proper bar and platform for my dance pad, so I don't have to screw up the basement every time I want to play dance games.
Planned: I'm going out with my dad on Sunday to shop for materials.  This goes under "Planned" because it's already determined, unless something falls through.

Prediction: The bar and platform will be built sometime by the end of the month.  Scores will go up as a result.

Planned: I have another dental extraction appointment on the 23rd.  This is set in stone.  I cannot predict how much pain I will be in afterward (probably not a lot if it goes as well as the first two did, but we'll see).  Don't know which *teeth* it will be, either, so I may need to go no mic/no cam for a while, possibly?

I said I'd complete 10 simfiles this month.  Today's the 7th, zero are totally done yet, and AGDQ is next week.
Prediction: Failure, by way of partial completion.  I predict somewhere between 5 and 7 simfiles totally finished and released on my website, and that I'll have to do several simfiles in February.

I said we'd be doing Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes this month with custom modules.  I've got KTANE.
Prediction: Ace explodes many times on stream.  It will be funny.

I've said nothing of it yet, but I've GOT Monster Hunter Portable 3rd with an English patch now.  Will it get played?  Who knows!  Lots of things happening this month, I refuse to make a prediction on this particular game for January.

Predictions for February 2017

Planned: I'll do a Birthday Special on the 11th (directly on my birthday), assuming no special plans are made for taking me out that consume the entire day.  (I'm likely to get *something* in on stream.)

Prediction: I'm going to go out on a limb, since my birthday is in February (meaning a Birthday Special), and say I'll hit 750 followers sometime this month, at the least (if I don't hit 750 directly *because* of my Birthday Special).

Prediction: The 750 Follower Special will at least be planned in this month, even if not actually *taking place* in this month, although that's likely; it's possible the 750FS will at least *start* in this month.

Prediction: Again, my birthday is on the 11th, so we're going to go out on a limb and say we unlock World 6 Blindfolded sometime either on my birthday or in February in general.  If it's unlocked early on in the month, it will be done by month's end.  If unlocked late, it will be done in March.

Prediction: More simfiles will need written this month to compensate for failure to fully deliver on January's announcement.

Prediction: More tooth extractions this month.  Don't know when.  I don't want to be in pain on my birthday, so I'll schedule extractions after it.

Prediction: If it hasn't been started already, Monster Hunter Portable 3rd will get off the ground at long last, assuming I haven't already hit 750 followers and am already doing a Follower Special when I feel like getting around to MHP3.

Prediction: People will gift me games for my birthday that have no choice but to immediately go on the New PC Queue.  (Just you wait and see, someone will do it even though I've been telling everybody not to.)

Predictions for March 2017

Hard to say what's going to happen this far out, but I'll do my best!

Prediction: If the 750 Follower Special hasn't actually started already, it will likely be happening early/mid-month.

Prediction: If World 6 Blindfolded has not been met, it will be met by early month, and finished by the end of the month.

Prediction: More simfiles will get done, but the pack (Volume 14) still won't be entirely finished.  (It'll be close though, with only a few to go.)  [It's possible the pack could be finished entirely this early, in which case that frees up more time for dancing.  If the pack remains yet unfinished as predicted, it will probably be finished in April, but we aren't predicting that far out yet.]

Prediction: Some more tooth extractions this month.  Again, couldn't say when.

Long-Term Thoughts
------------------

These aren't predictions, just thoughts about long-term stuff.

* Will I get a Switch?  Probably not, not in 2017.

* Wii U?  Not planning on it; the only thing I know I'd really play on it is New Super Mario Bros. U, and I don't see one game being worth the price of buying a console to play it on.

* I DO plan at some point in 2017 to manage getting a PS2, so I can stream RPGs on stream, and a DS, so I can play games easily while I'm not at home.  What order these happen in and when is entirely dependent on my own spare money and/or people like Youkai or DPad deciding I am to be the recipient of a fabulous prize (lol).

* The new PC won't happen anytime in 2017 at this rate, but I'm asking $3,000.  That's going to take time - currently, I think that will take longer than there is time in 2017.

* Otakon?  Only if I have a car (could happen) or a ride up, and have saved enough money on my own (viewers will still be donating toward the new PC at that point) that I can subsist there.  Who knows what might happen?

* I'll bother thinking about getting a car if for some reason I find myself going to events.  I hardly leave the house right now, there's no reason to have a car in the forseeable future unless events I need to drive to become a thing for me in 2017.

* Maybe Mario 3 Blindfolded will be done by the time 2017 is finished.  That's $800 into the new PC, surely we can do that in a whole year (we're already $77 in, so that's close to 1/8 covered already)?  If that's the case, we'll be into an incentive for "Beat Mario 3 with Minimal B-Button Presses" or beyond.  By the time 2017 comes to an end, I'd like to be at least halfway toward the new PC ($1,500).  Granted, I'd like to be DONE, but let's not lose sight of what is realistic; if I'm beyond $1,500 by the end of 2017 AT ALL, it will have been a very good year.

* AGDQ 2018 won't happen for me unless I have the new PC by months before then, which, at this time, I feel is *extremely* unlikely; all donations will probably still be going toward the new PC, and I won't be setting that aside for a "get me to AGDQ" fund.  I refuse to interrupt one major incentive for another.
