- After the Battle of New York, the world has changed. It now knows not only about the Avengers, but also the powerful menaces that require those superheroes and more to face them. - So I watched the first three episodes and well, I was definitely hoping for something more. The main character Clark Gregg (Phil Coulson), well he is the same plain - simple character like in the movie (thats what i expect), but Brett Dalton (Grant Ward) for me he doesn't fit in, for now, we will see later on. And what about those two kids, odd - crazy, genius scientists, it looks like they know everything about everything, sometimes quite annoying. Melinda May, what can i say, its just Jet Li, Jackie Chan in 50 years old woman suit. And conversation between characters, sometimes out of lines, odd, and trying to be funny - failed. Still i will keep watching it and hope for some small improvements.
- Many people who didn't give this show a chance are the ones who didn't like it! yeah it's a slow start but you should definitely not give up on it! I know that the show takes place in the Marvel Universe but it's about the people who run SHIELD not the superheroes. Just letting you know there is a huge plot twist in the episode called Turn Turn Turn. This is the episode that happens following the movie Captain America The Winter Soldier. I highly recommend you watch this movie before watching the episode. You will understand why things are happening and it will help lead up to future episodes. The first season finale was pretty epic too! So once you start this show, don't stop watching it! it will be worth the watch!
- The Ghosts, the Watchdogs (Led by Senator Ellen Nadeer and Anton Ivanov), Eli Morrow, Holden Radcliffe, and the LMDs and Framework Hydra (Led by AIDA/Madame Hydra/Ophelia) Skye was just an alias she used as a hacktivist under the banner of Rising Tide. She found out who she was when she met her father, Calvin, who called her by her real name. In season 3, she chose to be called Daisy since it was her birth name and it rubbed off on her. In "The Avengers," agent Phil Coulson is shown being killed by Loki. In the series premiere for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., it is explained that Coulson was actually only "dead" for a few seconds and was quickly revived. However, S.H.I.E.L.D. director Nick Fury, well known for his secretive and manipulative nature, told the Avengers that Coulson was dead in order to help rally them to fight Loki.<br/><br/>However, it quickly becomes clear that there is more to the story than this and the big overarching plotline of the first season involves Coulson's attempts to discover what really happened to him. We eventually learn that Coulson was actually dead for an extended period of time after being killed by Loki. Fury ordered him brought back to life via an experimental process which S.H.I.E.L.D. had been developing in case one of the Avengers was killed. This process was extremely traumatic and involved infusions of a serum synthesized from an alien being. To keep Coulson from remembering this, S.H.I.E.L.D. created a cover story and implanted him with false memories of having recuperated in Tahiti. a5c7b9f00b
