  1. My first BSG is over and I had so much fun. Even tho it seems obvious, almost everything was great. But still i would like to point some thing out in particular. First of all. I was at ESA16 last year, so it wasn't my first onside Speedrun Marathon. But still i had not really any expectations for BSG11. BSG is different, first of all its smaller (which isn't bad :p) So i try to not compared both Marathons with each other. It would be like I would compare a ferrari with a skateboard. Even tho the skateboard was much more fun #OpieOP

  5. Venue:
  6. The Venue was very cozy and was perfect for a Speedrun Marathon like this. It was almost as cozy as my own place #Kreygasm
  7. All the Arcade Machines made me feel so nostalgic. I havn't seen/played all of them but there is always a next time :)
  8. Also the Bar was a place i enjoyed very much also very cool that we basically could serve ourselfs. The streaming area was perfect even though we had only two couches #OpieOP

  10. Mass housing:
  11. I really appreciated that Rule and J4sp3rr gave us space to rest. Most of us were basically strangers. It was very close to the venue and not shabby. So again Big Thanks to the Mass Housing Guys <3

  13. Schedule:
  14. I really liked the variety of games. Some standard marathon games and some special Speedruns. They schedule team did a really good job here. Personally my favourites were probably the KH Run by TRPG and the Pokemon Red/Blue Run.
  15. About my run(s) i first wanna say that in the end I really liked the idea about doing any% and making nthe upgrade to AllBosses% an incentive. I had so much fun doing Addams Family and i hope that the people also had fun watching it. And I wasn't that nervous probably because of my first "suprise" run. I brought my PSP with me to continue with routing and stuff and ended up doing a backup run #blameM3
  16. Which I did not expected. But when Crrool came to me and asked I was like "When can i start" and he "Right now".
  17. I have to say that the run wasnt great first of all I was not prepared, second I was nervous and #WutFace, also it was the first time running on console and my settings were not correct for that (working on it already) plus bad RNG happend. I really enjoyed running both of the games. Everytime I get the change to be in the spotlight of a marathon I grow stronger as a speedrunner and a human.

  19. Staff:
  20. All of the Staff and Organizing Guys did a great job. Crrool's reaction when #BlameM3 #OwlBoy happend was impressive. He made the decision in like seconds. Tech did a great job and always made a very good communication between them and the runner(s). I really felt like i got respected as a runner. Couldn't donw it without them.

  23. I met so many great people and obviously cant mention them all. You should know that i love all of you <3

  26. Thanks for having so much trust and faith in me. Offered me to come to your place and beeing just nice to me, except for the time when you talked for like 2 minutes in dutch to me and I wasn't sure if you were talking to me or someone else.

  29. Again thanks for offering me a place to sleep and especially offering me a pillow and a blanket after someone used mine in the second night. You are a awesome guy <3

  51. Last but not least I wanna mention some things that I disliked or would change:
  52. - update the schedule (during the marathon)
  53. - more sofas #OpieOP
  54. - food order --> took way to long and was not that great imo.
