  1. I have had a lot of accomplishments with Animal Crossing, so I will fill in the most important ones here. About a year after I got this game, I decided that I wanted to own everything. Because I knew about ACC, I had traded for every item that I could. Some items, however, were not tradeable. These items I would have to get by myself. After several months more work, I had managed to get all of the gyroids, all of the Gracie shirts, and all of the town models. There was now only one item I needed...and it would take several more months of work to get.

  3. The Post Office Model is aquired by getting 999,999,999 bells in the bank account. I had about 80 million from my previous use of turnips. I knew that turnips were the best way to make bells in AC, so I decided to put all my efforts into the turnip trade. During the summer of '05, around July, I would set my alarm on Sunday for 5:55 A.M. and then start buying turnips at 6 A.M. I would usually do this for 4-6 hours, depending on my mood and how bored I got (this is very boring work to be wasting your Sunday away with). During the week I would record the prices (looking for patterns) and when a spike hit, I would sell them all, knowing I would have all day to do it. Unfortunately for me, since the time I started in July to the time I went back to school in late August, I had only one spike. I believe there was another during the week I went to North Carolina, but I couldn't bring myself to buy any, I was supposed to be relaxing. I didn't even check the prices. So at the end of summer I had about 300 million bells. This was not just from the one spike, I had another quite profitable method of gaining bells, and I used this during the weeks of summer.

  5. During the week, I used the famous island trick to bring in more bells. Using runninfreakgirl's GBA SP and my GBA together, I was able to make about 10 million bells per trip. Every spot on the island (apart from the shells that reappeared) was a money bag, and every space in the house was a money bag. One negative side, just like the turnips, this takes an extreme amount of time and each trip took about 1.5 hours. I can only take 28 with me each time (15 slots + 10 letters + 3 in the money slot), and Kapp'n would always take forever with his boat going back and forth. And then I would have to put the money in the Post Office. Sometimes I would do this 4 or 5 times a day. To keep myself sane, I would use the TV downstairs, which has a nice feature to it. I can split the screen and watch two channels at once. One I would have the AC game, and the other I would put something on that I liked. This helped quite a bit.

  7. After school started, I had to change my strategy quite a bit. I still had 700 million bells to go. I was still buying turnips on Sunday..but not nearly as much. The problem wasn't on Sunday. I could still buy turnips for 6 hours. The problem was during the week, if there was a spike. I was getting home at around 5 P.M., which would only leave me 5 hours to sell them, and that would mean skipping dinner and homework! So obviously, I had to buy less, which meant less profit. However, if I had an extra hour and a half, I would always take advantage of the island. Even on the rest of Sunday, I am very interested in football and the NFL (Steelers won Super Bowl XL!), so I would split the screen, watch the game on half and play AC on the other half. It worked quite nicely.

  9. So it went for the next couple of months. My hard work was finally going to pay off. Around November, I was over 900 million and was getting close. Finally, on December 5th, the very day that AC:WW came out on the DS, I completed my goal and got 999,999,999 in my bank account, and received the Post Model on the next day. This also gave me the last model I needed to complete my catalog, and also to have a town model in my house. Here are the pictures I took capping off my accomplishments:
