H: from under pidgin (no irc, firewall problem) or skype, xmpp reported to be working (gtalk), history
T: skype or something which is like skype (strong notif support preferably from the windows taskbar, history  should be preserved preferably on the client side and missed messages/history should be replayed when connecting, full history access, pidgin plugin)
K: not skype, has pidgin also, history


observations:
  the most problematic part is the history...
  gtalk -> no history, no replay
  irc -> no history, no replay
