We really do be Spring cleaning around here--and by “we” I also mean my mother and brother have gotten in the mood to de-clutter and throw away buried trash. I guess this is what they could mean to “be the change you wish to see in the world.” The house is in disarray right now, but it's on track to be roomier than ever. My bedroom is also looking a lot better. I'm mostly stuffing things away in my closet to deal with in 2-3 years when I am on pace to afford a good down payment on a house mortgage. I still don't know what I'm going to do with my cable management, though. I've considered moving a table under my desk to make raising my desk easier to deal with. I want to re-claim desk space, but I still have a mouse problem and get worried about exposing my PC on the floor to them. I have some decisions to make still about how I want to arrange my gaming setup.

If my Kirby's Avalanche video this weekend is any indication, then know that I am trying to shake things up. The status quo is getting me nowhere towards letting me do this for you doods full time. It's getting closer to time to take chances, make mistakes, and get messy. To do that, I gotta clean up first.

Also, the less said about my Super Puzzle Fighter experience on Friday, the better. I need to properly learn that game before playing it again.

Today's (permanent) extra streaming goals:

Goal #1: clean up my immediate environment. The PC had 600GB of video files that DaVinci Resolve had copied for its projects. Deleting that has freed up a lot of room. Now to figure out whether the desk arrangement I had imagined when I picked up my adjustable desk is going to work long term.
Goal #5: script and record footage for my Puzzle League tutorial series. I have some scripts to touch up before feeling comfortable with moving on to recording gameplay. Then I will need to record my talking points and edit it all together. I will still want to take time during the week to do all of that instead of stream. Whether I will be able to remains to be seen.
Goal #6: clean up my own stream layout. I am brainstorming how I want the final theming to be. I probably want to give people multiple options, maybe allow spending bits to change the look. I don't have anything written down yet. I don't expect to get to this anytime soon.

One of the last games to be considered for the next LPS minor tournament will be on the table for this Friday before the poll closes. The only other game on the poll is Yoshi (NES), but there was talk before about playing some form of Peggle. I think I would rather play Peggle than set up my NES capture for Yoshi, but I'll have time to figure that out during the week.
