  1. ###CHARACTER BIO
  2.
  3. **Name:** Annalise Moreau
  4.
  5. **Age:** 27
  6.
  7. **Appearance:** Annalise is a fairly average-looking girl with brown hair and green eyes. 5’8” with a slim figure. Well, she’s average except for the metallic growths that cover much of her body including her arms, parts of her torso, and about a third of her face. One of her eyes glows either green or red as a result.
  8.
  9. **Personality:** Anna is quite varied in personality. She delights in destruction and mischief at times, but also seems to have some sense of morality. She’s about 60/40 villain/hero as a result; sometimes robbing banks and jacking cars, sometimes saving people from muggings or thwarting burglaries. She also tends to get way too attached to people very easily.
  10.
  11. **Background:** Annalise was born in space, many, many light-years away from Earth. There, humans evolved independently on a planet much like our own, but a few thousand years earlier. As a result, despite their technological advancement following a very similar path to our own, they had already developed faster-than-light travel and colonized new planets and star systems, creating a thriving spacefaring society.
  12.
  13. ((I’ll probably write some lore pages on this later.))
  14.
  15. Anna came from a family of pilots. Her mother’s side was a middle-class but well-respected merchant family, while her father’s side was all military. As a result, Anna was flying almost before she could walk (not by herself, of course), and while her parents both tried to introduce her to their respective crafts, the teenage girl chose another path: that of the explorer. See, while space had been colonized by several different races, there was a lot left unexplored. With infinitely more “ground” to cover and thousands of cosmic phenomena yet to be understood or even discovered, the path of the explorer was dangerous yet lucrative. Reaching the outer limits of civilized space also brought with it other ways to make money; explorers frequently made a quick buck elsewhere such as by smuggling, hunting pirates, and more.
  16.
  17. Anna had a ship, she had money, she had skills, the universe was her oyster. So she began taking on more and more dangerous missions, traveling far and wide in search of reality-bending wormholes, exotic creatures, breathtaking landscapes, and ancient weapons. One such adventure took her to a planet of circuits and machinery, an metallic landscape populated entirely by robots. There was also a strange sign of organic life, but Anna was unable to pinpoint the exact source. After charting the planet and returning to her ship for the last time, Anna noticed something strange. Her fingers on her left hand had begun to turn gray, and upon touching them, she felt great pain. It turned out that the entire planet was infected with a strange technovirus, and now Anna was contaminated too. She stumbled into her ship and tried to take off, but the virus rapidly took hold.
  18.
  19. When Anna awoke, her ship was spinning through space with warning lights flashing and sirens blaring. The virus had taken over nearly half of her body, and after injecting some nanites to hinder its spread, Anna turned her attention to her ship. The craft had the telltale gunmetal-gray and dull green lights of the virus, having been partially taken over too. But as she looked out the window, Anna noticed something else strange too. It seemed the virus had gone wild with the ship’s warp drive and launched them into a whole different galaxy. It had to have been with a wormhole. But still, the ship was heading towards a green and blue planet, full of water, full of life. The engines were down, the heat shields were failing, and all Anna could do was brace for dear life as her ship tumbled helplessly toward Earth...
  20.
  21. **Resources:** None but the contents of her ship and whatever she can get her hands on.

  24.
  25. ###POWERS AND SKILLS
  26.
  27. **Power Descriptions:**
  28.
  29. * **Cybernetic Augmentation:** Anna has been fitted with cybernetics to enhance her piloting and exploration skills. These augments have been boosted and supplemented by the technovirus. The result is enhanced physical attributes across the board, a small healing factor, and an internal targeting system that automatically interfaces with whatever weapons she may be using. Also, she does not need to eat or drink to survive (although she sometimes becomes ravenously hungry).
  30.
  31. * **Technoviral Infection:** Anna’s technovirus can infect electronic and mechanical devices within 100 meters, up to eight items at a time. When infected, a device will be under Anna’s technopathic control and pushed beyond its normal maximum capabilities. 30 second per-device lockout after disconnecting.
  32.
  33. * **Technoviral Mutation:** Either on contact or after being wirelessly infected for five minutes, devices will fully contract the virus and mutate. Mutated devices now count as two infected devices towards the maximum of eight, but their capabilities are dramatically increased. They become EMP-hardened and nearly impossible to hack, and mutate into robotic constructs of relatively similar size to their original state. These robots will sprout laser weaponry of similar power to a bullet.
  34. * Larger items such as vehicles can mutate further to sport electrostatic grenade launchers and weaponry equivalent to a .50 caliber machine gun, but will cost four device slots.
  35.
  36. **Power Drawbacks:** Mutated devices cannot be removed from Anna’s control unless destroyed, or if Anna purges the virus from their system, taking about two minutes. This means that she does not get device slots back until after this has occurred. Also, mutation is unavoidable after five minutes, meaning if Anna does not want something to mutate she has to disconnect and incur the thirty-second lockout. The technovirus is easily defeated with chemical weaponry of any kind (including gas), sporting resistance equivalent to a normal human. Anna also has to have regular nanite injections to keep the virus from taking over her body, but these are readily available.
  37.
  38. **Skills:**
  39.
  40. * Piloting: Anna is a skilled pilot and vehicle operator, especially in space.
  41. * Space exploration: self explanatory
  42. * Combat: She’s no master, but she can mix it up hand-to-hand or with weapons if necessary.
  43. * Video games: The best way to keep yourself occupied on long space flights.
  44.
  45. **Equipment/Weaponry:**
  46.
  47. * Laser Weaponry: Anna’s infected arms can mutate laser weaponry similar to that of her mutated constructs, meaning, equivalent power level to small arms fire.
  48.
  49. * Shield: A forcefield deployable as an arm-mounted shield. Resistant to small numbers of bullets at a time but can be overwhelmed or bursted down. Returns a powerful electric shock if struck with a punch/kick/headbutt or a metal melee weapon.
  50.
  51. * Grenades: Not on her person but usable by constructs. Crowd-control weaponry that delivers powerful electric shocks in a 15-meter radius.
  52.
  53. * The *Lewis II:* Anna’s ship. A ship designed for a small crew but usable by one with plenty of living space; the size of a large starfighter or small frigate. It carries powerful laser cannons and has both sublight and FTL capability. Unfortunately, the virus has completely destroyed the power relays allowing for FTL warping, and the rest of the ship is not functional.
  54.
  55. ---
  56.
  57. ###ATTRIBUTES/FEATS
  58.
  59. **Strength:** Can lift about a ton at maximum effort.
  60.
  61. **Agility:** Could dodge an arrow at range, also agile in hand to hand combat. Nothing unique among superhumans though.
  62.
  63. **Intelligence/Wisdom:** Enhanced neural processing and excellent memory.
  64.
  65. **Defense:** Healing factor can heal minor wounds easily. Moderate wounds will stay but hamper her less in a fight, and deadly wounds (but not killing her outright) will take her out of the fight but heal back with time. Also resistant to blunt force due to metallic skin.
  66.
  67. **Offense:** Could take on a couple squads of trained soldiers using all of her powers, or destroy a small building.
