  3. For as long as there have been humans with supernatural powers, there have been those trained to combat them. They go by many names, from Chi Blockers to Witch Hunters, but their role in the world has always been similar. The gifts of the supernatural are not always looked upon as positive things by a society, and in many eras through history those with them were persecuted and hunted. To be labeled a witch could make one a social pariah, and at worst, lead to execution or exile. While this was oft misused, the root of it came from the fact that a villain with supernatural gifts was way, way more difficult to track, combat, and restrain than those without them. So, humanity adapted. It developed fighting styles that cut off these gifted individuals from their powers, and likewise could do the same to Pokemon, or any Trainer who specializes in combat. We call these individuals, The Silencers.

ZOOF NOTE: "Supernatural Class" refers to the following classes: Aura Guardian, Channeler, Disciple, Medium, Clairvoyant, Telekinetic, Telepath, Warper, Rune Master, All the Elementalists, and Glitch Bender. It also refers to Signers, The Branded, Messiahs and Usurpers, even if these advancement paths do not have the [CLASS] Tag, they represent a noticeable, and developed supernatural trapping. When dealing with home brew classes, I believe it should be fairly straight forward to decide whether or not a class is considered Supernatural. One way to think of it, using the Animism Metaphysics described on page BLUH, is these classes all tap into an Anima in someway or another, and these combatants specialize in cutting a Trainer or Pokemon off from that.

  8. Suffer Not the Witch
  9. Prerequisites: Novice Intuition, Adept Occult Education
  10. Effect: You are well versed in the tells, habits, trends and quirks associated with individuals who have Supernatural Gifts. If you suspect someone might possess one, roll an Opposed Intuition vs Guile check. If you succeed and they do possess one or more Supernatural Classes, you learn what one of them is.

  16. Effect: You gain the Forewarn Ability.

  22. Effect: If the Target of your Forewarn Ability is captured, fainted, flees from battle, is returned, or otherwise defeated, its Frequency is refreshed. Furthermore, when you or one of your Pokemon Target a Trainer who has a Supernatural Class with the Forewarn Ability, you learn an additional Two Moves.

  28. Trigger: You hit with a Struggle Attack
  29. Effect: The last Move the Target used becomes Disabled.

  33. Prerequisites: Silencer
  34. At Will - Extended Action
  35. Target: A Pokemon with at least 2 Tutor Points.
  36. Effect: The target loses 2 Tutor Points, and gains the Forewarn or Mold Breaker Ability. You may target a Pokémon with Silence is Golden only once.

  40. Prerequisites: Silencer, Fist of Silence
  41. Scene - Swift Action
  42. Trigger: The Target of your Fist of Silence uses an Interrupt to avoid your attack.
  43. Effect: Your Struggle Attack gains the Smite keyword, and the target is Paralyzed. This ignores Immunity to Paralysis. If your Target used a Move with the Shield keyword to avoid your attack, they do not take damage, but are still Paralyzed.

  47. Prerequisites: Silencer, Suffer Not the Witch, Expert Combat or Occult Education
  48. 1 AP - Free Action
  49. Target: A Trainer with a Supernatural Class that you have used Suffer Not the Witch, Forewarn or Fist of Silence against in this Scene.
  50. Effect: Your attacks versus the Target gain bonus damage equal to your Combat Rank. The Target also takes a penalty on opposed roles against you equal to half your Occult Education Rank.

  54. Prerequisites: Silencer, Master Combat or Occult Education, Iron Mind, Fist of Silence
  55. Scenex3 - Free Action
  56. Trigger: You hit a Target with Fist of Silence.
  57. Effect: Choose one of the following. You may only use Last Word once per Scene per Target.
  58. * Instead of Disabling the last Move your Target used, you may choose another Move that you are aware they know.
  59. * Instead of a Move, you Disable one of the Target's Abilities or non-Movement Capabilities. If the Capability is one they enable by use of a Feature, they cannot reenable it for the rest of the Scene.
  60. * If your Target is a Channeler, choose one of their Channeled Pokemon. Their Channel to that Pokemon is Disabled, and cannot be reestablished for the rest of the Scene. You may also use this against the Channeled Pokemon directly.
