- Backstory-
- Khulan's life to this point is best described as Nomadic, a common adjective to describe the lives of those Mandalorians unaffiliated with the Neo-Crusaders at this time. She grew up with her family, a mother, a father, two brothers and two sisters, and traveled the galaxy with them. They did work where they found it, conflict is pretty easy to find if you know how to look, and all five children learned the ways of the Mandalorians, of combat, and the Mando'a Language.
- Things changed as the children grew up. As each came of age, they found a mate, married, and moved out to begin their own lives. While separated from the family, family ties remain strong for Mandalorians. Khulan was no exception, and had her own marriage at age 16, to another Mandalorian woman named Altansarnai. The two had met far from either of their clans, while on training, and had immediately fallen in love. As a result, it was natural that they would marry when their training was finished. Altansarnai and Khulan love each other very deeply, but Altan's often reckless carelessness tends to require her to ask for Khulan's help in bailing her out of whatever mess she's ended up in this time.
- It's been a few years since the two women came of age in Mandalorian society, and they're still living a nomadic life. Since they both hunt bounties, they often split up for work to increase the amount of credits they bring in (since small fry bounties typically have flat payment rates, whether you catch them alone or with a team). A life on the edge, moving from place to place, expecting daily combat and spending nights with the one you love. It's hard to have a better life as a Mandalorian.
- Obligation: Family-
- A two-pronged obligation. First, Khulan's mate Altansarnai is something of a free spirit. Wild and passionate, she tends to react with emotion to being manipulated or lied to, a common concern in Bounty Hunting. Her rather violent responses to these slights tend to make enemies, and Khulan sometimes has to lend assistance. Second, Mandalorians place a large emphasis on family matters, and raising the next generation of warriors. As a result, the two of them have been keeping their eyes out for orphaned children who may be amenable to the Mandalorian way of life, to adopt them and raise them up.
