  26. ~ Section II - Sign-Up Procedures & Payment ~
  27. To sign up for a commission, please follow these instructions:
  28.
  29. 1) Send me a note containing the details of your commission - this includes reference pictures, themes, scripts, direction, and anything you might deem pertinent for the job at hand.
  30.
  31. Please be concise and polite in your commission description.
  32.
  33. 2) I will respond to your note to either discuss the idea (if it needs further development) or to approve/disapprove it. I will then confirm the price of the commission and provide payment info.
  34.
  35. 3) An invoice will be created and sent through paypal for you to pay. All payments must be made before the work begins unless a plan is discussed at stage 2. In most cases, full payment must be received within 2 weeks of your sign-up, or your commission may be dropped!

  40. ~ Section III - Subject Restrictions ~
  41. We all have our own preferences when it comes to what we like in art, and it is your responsibility as the commissioner to be familiar with an artist's work before you commission me.
  42.
  43. My writing is very tuned for realistic (but concise), dark (but hopeful), and heavily themed (but not syrupy) work, which is best geared for short novella writing. My art is pixelated exclusively.
  44.
  45.
  46. I am aware that I can be a very particular person when it comes to commission subjects. I am not a jack-of-all-trades kind of artist; I specialize in a few things, and this is both my strength and my flaw. Please respect this fact when you ask for commissions, because I want to enjoy creating for you, and my best work results from my enjoying my projects.
  47.
  48. In general, I strongly prefer not to take these types of projects (it may affect prices):
  49. -Rated R and above.
  50. -Highly drug influenced work
  51. -Vore
  52. -Macro/Micro
  53.
  54. Furthermore, I do not take the following:
  55. -Child/Cub Pornography
  56. -Rape/Non-Consensual Sex
  57. -Inflation
  58. -Gore
  59.
  60. Thank you for your understanding. If you have ideas or characters that you aren't sure falls into this list or not, feel free to ask me via note.
  61.

  63.
  64. ~ Section IV - Commission Quality Assurance & Disclaimer ~
  65.
  66. My work is unlike mass-manufactured products. I think it's easy to forget this fact given the cheap prices of commercial art in the fandom - but I kindly ask that you keep in mind: When you commission an artist, you are getting something that will be custom-made to your specification, and will be one-of-a-kind. That is what makes commissioning art such an exciting experience.
  67.
  68. That said, every piece of art is different, and not all of them will turn out equally in terms of quality. Sometimes inspiration strikes and a work turns out amazing. Sometimes an artist struggles and the piece becomes a grind, and the struggle will show in the result.
  69.
  70. I do take pride in my work and I do maintain a quality standard for all commission work - you will not get a half-baked project when you commission me. However, I strongly advise against comparing my commission work to my personal work. A lot of my best works are personal works, because I am familiar with the characters, I know their stories, I have sentimental attachment to them. I spend a lot of extra time and effort on the scope or the details on these works that I simply cannot afford to spend on every single commission piece.
  71.
  72. So, while I understand the perspective of a commissioner who approaches an artist hoping to get similar results in his/her commission as that artist's best piece of work, I must be honest and tell you that it's not how things work from the artist's perspective.
  73.
  74. The best way to ensure that you get a good commission is to provide a good, detailed description of what you want. Help me understand what you are looking for in the work; help me understand the things that are most important to your work. If necessary, I will contact you many times for your input.
  75.
  76. What happens if there are errors in the work?
  77. Is something essential missing from the work? Don't worry. If the error is the result of my not paying attention to things you specifically mentioned in the commission description, then it's my responsibility to fix it! If the error is the result of vague/ambiguous descriptions or details you accidentally omitted, that is quite alright, too - we all forget things sometimes. As my work is very easy to edit, I can usually fix these errors on the fly in order to provide the best possible product. However, retakes are time consuming and difficult and only 10 retakes will be provided before additional charges will apply.
  78.
  79. What happens if I don't like the project?
  80. I cannot and will not redo the entire project just because you don't like it, especially since I do go over each commission description in detail with every commissioner to make sure I know what they wanted to get. I will however make small edits and alterations to make sure your project comes out as amazing as you imagined it.
  81.
  82. Remember: Familiarize yourself with my writing before commissioning me - make sure I am the right writer for the job.
  83.
  84. ===============================
  85.
  86. ~Rights and responsibilities ~
  87. Commissioned works are provided for personal use and additional charges may apply for works licensed for commercial use. Royalties apply if the work is sold commercially.
  88.
  89. I reserve the right to post the project and use it in my portfolio with additional credits to you the commissioner.
  90.
  91. I reserve the right to decline a project from anyone for any reason.
