<Antioch|GM> Armed with the assistance of young tagalong villain Full Throttle, Nachzehrer follows up on her plan to lay the smack down on some Blackjack capes.
<Antioch|GM> After throwing a chair through the window of a philly cheesesteak shop, she's accosted by the capes Seismic Surfer and Boxcars. Despite a nominal assistance from Full Throttle, she's able to incapacitate the two of them.
<Antioch|GM> In the aftermath of the fight, she's approached by a cape wearing chain mail and tabard, Vorpal, who claims to be an itinerant Protectorate hero on a team sent to nip crisis situations in the bud.
<Antioch|GM> "I have suspicions that the hospital on this side of town is under Blackjack's control," he replies, "after investigating purchase records and gang activity."
<Antioch|GM> "It's an understandable concern. I have some degree of training in field treatment, if you'd prefer that. I was sending for a few PRT medics and not a formal ambulance. Unless your friend has sustained a fracture significant enough to require surgery to reset the bone, it should prove sufficient."

"Longinus's base doesn't seem like it's going anywhere, people'll want what's in it in two weeks just as much as they do right now." ||

The suburbs near the base have already been evacuated, and buildings, residences, power lines, and more have been torn down, scrapped to be used as ammunition for the race to whatever information or valuables those Tinkers are aiming for."

She's not wearing spooky black spiked armor for nothing. "I get that, but we do this two weeks ceasefire, you blow up all the dudes trying to steal Longinus's crap, yadda yadda. Won't a new batch of idiots just come in and do the same thing? Unless you're planning on hauling it out or something." ||

Or... or, he knows, and he's seeing what she does. Whether she plays it honest or not. "I see," she says, reservedly. How to play this out. Fuck. <Antioch|GM> "I do," Vorpal replies, turning to meet Nachzehrer's eyes when he does so, then directing his attention back to the injured leg, gently applying pressure to areas which have begun swelling slightly, gauging their give and Full Throttle's pain reaction.
<Antioch|GM> "Alright," he says, "I'm not an expert, but it doesn't look like you'll need surgery for this. Leg brace, crutches, cold pack. I'll get a second opinion from the medics when they get here."
<Antioch|GM> He turns back to Nachzehrer.
<Antioch|GM> "It's in our best interests to make overtures to one of the bigger coalitions angling towards the base. More usually I parley a favor given into the opportunity to discuss, meet on equal terms, but it doesn't appear as if your friend is in especially dire medical condition, so I'll ask outright to speak to Silver Bullet, and if feasible, your employers." ||
