  1. from /hhg/ Helluva Hotel General #878
  2. ---------
  3. Would you fk the midget angry spider boi, /hhg/
  4. -
  5. >Only personality the community gives him is *angrily yells in Italian* or [Snake Fker]
  6. -
  7. characterization includes
  8.
  9. >usually a closeted homosexual
  10. >if he is gay, he typically struggles to come to terms with this from a combination of his Fathers disdain for homosexuals, and the hypocrisy of being gay when he participated in kicking Angel out of the family for being gay
  11. >relationship with Sir Pentious (since the only people who exist in hell are the people in the pilot)
  12. >inferiority complex regarding his Father and sometimes Brother
  13. >degree of Stockholm syndrome and being trapped with living with his Father
  14. >preference for firearms
  15. >typically works as an assassin specializing in long range elimination
  16. >estranged with Angel, 50/50 regarding his Sister
  17.
  18. So naturally in the series Arackniss will be a well adjusted, heterosexual, individual who has long since moved away from his Father and criminal enterprise and operates a legitimate business, and tries to build a positive relationship with Angel Dust, which he struggles to do due to Angel's addictions, dependencies and Angel's distrust of Arackniss due to past actions.

  20. I have to wonder how Molly will end up interacting not just with her immediate family, but with the rest of the cast. Is she just going to show up and try to play mediator between Charlie's big gay hugbox and the angry spider mafia? Where does she fit into either of those groups?
  21. -
  22. This is assuming she even got sent to Hell, don't quote me but I think Viv has been ambiguous if Molly is in Heaven or Hell.
  23. -
  24. Well what art we do have of her sure as sht doesn't look angelic by any common definition. Haven't seen her with a halo as of yet. Are spider angels a thing? Most religions hate spiders. You get spider demons, but not spider angels.
  25. -
  26. 99% of the art of her is fan art, there is one or two official designs, but those are older ones, and Viv has stated Molly has undergone redesigns.
  27.
  28. Another reason why getting attached to people who've not actually been presented in the show is a bad idea.
  29. -
  30. Given the implications of the cherub episode I'd be ready to entertain a person in Heaven trying to help save all her shtstain family members who ended up in Hell anyway. My question at that point would be how a woman who got her nickname from a party drug who comes from an organized crime family of people who are also mostly named after highly addictive recreational drugs peddled by people with a predatory, extralegal business model managed to get into Heaven in the first place.
  31. -
  32. That's the fun part, we have absolutely no idea what Heaven's criteria for acceptance is, nor do we actually know anything about Molly's background aside from her being the fraternal twin sister of Angel.
  33.
  34. If she is in Heaven, it could've occurred thousands of ways. Was she a genuinely decent person in life? Did she save some child who was about to die so she automatically got into Heaven? Did she meet some esoteric criteria?
  35. -
  36. Speaking of Cherub, what the hell were they doing? They are ostensibly a protection agency. But whereas an Assassination contract is a short term affair, a protection job could be a lifetime obligation stretching towards half a century.
  37.
  38. Were the Cherubs really expected to keep tabs on people for the rest of their natural lives? For free? You'd need thousands, perhaps millions, of Cherubs to sustain this business model, all working for nothing 24 hours a day.
  39.
  40. If anything, getting kicked out of Heaven is going to give our Cherub's the first real vacation days of their lives.
  41. -
  42. Well, it seemed more like momentary holy assistance. Perhaps they're given orders to protect certain people at certain moments? Like the billionaire could've done a lot of good with his fortune if he gave it all to charity. That's massive, unlike Joe who was about to get hit by a car but if he did survive he'd help a person or two.
  43.
  44. Maybe God is playing a massive chess game and I.M.P is a rogue piece he didn't expect? So many theories can be made on this show.
  45. ---
  46. those are some good questions, it be interesting to see if (maybe) she betrayed family. If I remember this right that molly and angel where "two peas in a pod" that they know each other secret, like she knew angel was gay before anyone knew it in the family.
  47.
  48. but of course soon or later when there dad found out... this one I don't remember.
  49.
  50. 1. he found out and killed his son, angel.
  51.
  52. or 2. he found him, see him OD on drugs, angel call out for help but he left him to die.
  53.
  54. in one of these 2, I feel like this wound be breaking point for her, sell out her family to the cops and make sure they won't find out it was her. and after that, I think she had a happy life and be a good person.
  55.
  56. of course this is my idea of how/why molly is in Heaven. but also viv could change her mind and put molly back into hell or something.
  57. -
  58. i'm confused anon. i understand that it's just a cartoon, but something inside keeps reaching out to me that there can be more to it. i really HOPE so.
  59. why not take each side of the story to account: Angel, Molly, mom and dad?
  60. i understand that this is just DOGMA, but come on let's try a little harder
  61. -
  62. >why not take each side of the story to account: Angel, Molly, mom and dad?

  134.
  135. oh, sorry about that pal. hope you have fun watching lancer like I did.
  136.
  137. I am going to bed, night.
  138. -
  139. good night, don't' let the bedbugs bite
  140. --------
  141. It kind of opens up some awkward avenues if last minute heroics and death bed conversions can be enough to keep someone out of the pit.
  142. -
  143. Well at least we know dead bed conversions are seemingly not going to cut it since old-fat-fk #2 had a similar revelation at the end of C.H.E.R.U.B.S, immediately died and ended up straight in Hell.
  144.
  145. I wonder if Hitler shooting himself counts as a last minute heroic action considering his kill count?
  146.
  147. I'm willing to bet that Heaven's admission criteria is simply a case of being very stringent and prone to seeing people denied for flimsy reasons. We've yet to see the full breadth of 'sinners' in the show and thus get a gauge on how many sinners are more 'normal'.
  148.
  149. You could make the argument that ending up in Hell results in most people letting their inhibitions loose, but can every single damned soul in Hell really be a bad person?
  150.
  151. I remember having some stupid head canon a while ago that the 'heaven admissions department' is a volunteer service of Human souls who admit people into Heaven, the issue being anyone you admit into Heaven becomes your responsibility if they fk up, so people who do end up "volunteering" will try to deny entry to anyone they process via rule lawyering.
  152.
  153. >some bored out of their skull angelic human sitting at some 50's style, out of date and decrepit, office room
  154. >watches the glowing essence of a Human soul fall into a containment room in front of them,
  155. >absentmindedly flicks through a 'quick fact sheet' of the person before promptly denying them entry
  156. >ignores the souls questioning/crying/pleading of what is going on
  157. >this continues until some soul plop in that he cannot deny
  158. >the computer system states they performed a 'absolute divine entry' action before their death, so they have to be admitted
  159. >bored angel mockingly congratulates the soul before begrudgingly accepting them
  160. >gets up from desk to go get lunch
  161. >does not log off, a new soul falls down for processing
  162. >the system detects no command entry, automatically denies the soul entry to Heaven
  163. >another soul falls down
