Dio vs Other Dios

F.F.'s voice tapered off because JoJo was already charging. The only thing he could see was Dio. Dio, Dio, Dio, Dio, Dio, Dio, DIO! No words cohered in his head, a frenetic whirring consumed his brain—

And then a second Dio appeared. He manifested out of nothing and JoJo thought for a minute that he had become so enraged he was literally seeing double until a third Dio appeared, and a fourth, all flung from different angles of nothingness toward the original Dio. The helpless ancillary Dios tumbled, rolled, but could do nothing to stop their progress.

The first Dio tilted his head. "Oh...?"

His red eyes twinkled. A flash—and then lasers fired, one from each eyeball. JoJo hurled himself down as everything in the room was bifurcated by their sweep. The Greek soldiers came apart in pieces, one of F.F.'s arms went flying (the Master, luckily, was already slumped far enough that the beams passed over his head), and the secondary Dios lost all forward momentum as they unraveled. A searing, painful heat scraped along JoJo's upturned cheek and a warm spurt of blood flowed down his chin.

Something appeared behind Dio, between him and the wall. It was Valentine. He had timed his manifestation so that Dio was just finishing dealing with the secondary Dios, and he attacked at an angle that would be impossible for Dio to see. Soundless, too: a perfect ambush.
