[05:02] Rance: the man who has been my best friend since freshman year
[05:02] Rance: you think i'd be more sad?
[05:02] Rance: the fact that i seem to have already accepted
[05:02] Rance: is that my life will not change
[05:03] Rance: i'll still mindlessly attend class, halfheartedly look for a job, play video games, watch anime, and talk to you every day
[05:03] Rance: but why am i thinking about this if nothing will change?
[05:03] Rance: probably something relating to attachment to something
[05:03] Rance: like a blanket you slept with as a child and are reluctant to get rid of even though it's been in the closet for the past 2 years
[05:04] Rance: of course speaking from personal experience, i have never slept with nick kroh, nor has he spent 2 years in my closet
[05:04] Rance: i'll probably say my goodbyes tomorrow
[05:04] Rance: spend a melancholy drive home before remembering that i have tons of anime on backlog and spent bout 3 hours watching it before i play LoL with my friends
[05:05] Rance: most people would interject at this point and say something like Hey!
[05:05] Rance: isn't this wrong?
[05:05] Rance: don't you feel like you're making a mistake?
[05:05] Rance: to which i would respond
[05:05] Rance: yes
[05:05] Rance: but will i do anything about it?
[05:05] Rance: no
[05:05] Rance: i
[05:05] Rance: am a man of little expectations
[05:05] Rance: i don't expect a lot out of things and because of that my life has been incredibly fulfilling
[05:06] Rance: i think it will continue to be and that i can't be brought down because of that
[05:06] Rance: i'm a very tough man to depress
[05:06] Rance: which is why nick kroh's departure isn't effecting me as heavily as one would argue that it should
[05:06] Rance: i guess i'm just the kind of guy to ignore something like a world disaster if it doesn't directly effect me
[05:06] Rance: or rather
[05:07] Rance: if it did effect me, i'd stop having worries about it after a few hours
[05:07] Rance: does that make me soulless?
[05:07] Rance: or just apathetic?
[05:07] Rance: regardless, no matter what obstacles are thrown my way
[05:07] Rance: i'll continue to walk into them and if they don't allow me to pass, i'll find the quickest way around
