  1. Part 3 4/6 For ISD Clock
  2. Participants:
  3. Knox (gamesnanime95)
  4. Korin Mantell (hakumen)
  5. ██████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████
  6. Log:
  7. [14:12] Knox would be waiting in the central lobby of the Sith Facility as he usually was. The repairs to the Star Destroyer were underway with minimal difficulties as many resources and manpower were pooled. The Engines, Life Support and Hangar had all been returned to operational capacity. Now all that remained would be the Bridge, Sensor Relay, and Communications. Knox decided to oversee the repairs on the Sensor Relay as it would be tragic to have no means of detecting unwanted visitors while repairs were underway. Calling for what manpower he could make do with. There was one trooper in particular who had been recently assigned to this station and since it was a waste of human resources to have him guard, Knox reassigned him. Waiting for him to report in for duty.
  8.
  9. [14:18] Rogan Royce (hakumen) moved through the facility with a purpose as he entered into the central lobby. He would pause for a moment, his dark lenses reflecting the interior of the room as he looked about. Locking onto the dark figure at the other side of the room, Trooper Mantell would begin to move across the room, coming to a halt before manand clicking his heels together as he saluted the dark lord, "Lord Knox!" His spine was straight as he stood at attention, in perfect marching position as he stared straight at the Dark Lord, waiting to receive his orders.
  10.
  11. [14:29] Knox would be known as the Apprentice of Darth Talon who served on the Council. Whatever mission he was assigned to held a lot of importance and so it gave him leniency to move freely. A stern man who was cold and calculating with a stoic personality. The dark and armored individual would look up as the crimson visor locked onto Korin who was the one he called for. His cold monotone voice reaching out as his voice was modulated by the helmet. "OS-479, I have been expecting you for your assignment briefing." Withdrawing a datapad and looking it over as updates from the Star Destroyer repairs were updated through a rather unorthodox method until Communications had been re-established. "For this assignment you are not to speak a word of it to anyone. It is considered Classified and you are to accompany me immediately to the site. Is that understood Soldier?" Most Sith would not use names as it was too familiar. Rather preferring to call the Soldiers by their designations.
  12.
  13. [14:35] Rogan Royce (hakumen) would nod his head as the Dark Lord spoke, his gaze facing straight ahead and yet the Trooper would nod again, "Yes sir." Korin knew when to speak and when not too, and right now was the time to stand at attention and not question. He would listen attentively as the instructions were given, his gaze inquisitive from behind the dark helmet as he wondered where this assignment would take him. But once again, if you valued your head you shouldn't ask too many questions. Especially too a superior, it wasn't a healthy habit for living. Giving the hooded figure another salute, OS-479 would once again speak from behind his own modulated helmet, "Yes, Sir."
  14.
  15. [14:42] Knox would nod as their shuttle was ready and the pilots awaiting his orders. Putting the datapad away he'd turn to make his way to the lift. All the while stating, "Then let us depart." Waiting for Korin to step into the lift before it'd take them to the landing pad on the roof of the facility. Soon to follow as they'd board the ramp of the Lambda Shuttle, the ramp would raise itself to a close and Knox would take his seat. Leaving Corellia as they'd input the hyperspace coordinates and the pilots made the jump. Throughout the wait Knox would remain silent as he waited until finally arriving at their destination, The Maw. A part of the Kessel Sector filled with black holes and storms. There was an area however where the Star Destroyer had hidden itself. It would be thanks to the route given that they would not suffer any catastrophic events. The pilots would input the approach vectors for the Hangar and make their way in. Passing the shield film that separated the vacuum of space from the Hangar Bay which was now fully operational. A crew of engineers from Kuat Drive Yards on standby as they had been instructed to wait. The ramp of the Lambda Craft Lowering and Knox stepping down from it.
  16.
  17. [14:56] Rogan Royce (hakumen) followed after the Sith, moving close behind the Dark Lord as they took the lift up to the landing pad. He would then enter the Lambada Shuttle after Darth Knox, securing his blaster rifle before seating himself and strapping himself in as they began to take off and break out of atmosphere. Korins arms crossed, his eyes were closed as he waited for the shuttle to enter hyperspace, his body shaking slightly in the seating as they jumped. There was no talking between the pair during the trip, much as Korin preferred. There was no illusion of any relationship other then a soldier and his superior, making things easy for them. It was one of the reasons he'd choosen to serve in the military, it made life easy. As vessel came out of hyperspace, he would shake a bit more in his seating as he looked toward the piloting section of the craft, recognizing the standard landing procedures. As Lord Knox rose, so too did the Trooper after him, reaching for his secured blaster and taking it firmly in his hands as he moved to depart down the ramp, after the Dark Lord.
  18.
  19. [15:12] Knox with OS-479 'Korin' in tow he'd make his way to meet with the Engineering team. Standing there as he'd address them in a cold monotone, "Those of you hired to make the repairs to the Sensor Relay are to do so and nothing else. Should you be found wandering the ship or attempting to steal, your Corporate superiors will be notified and immediately punished. Is that understood?" The Engineering team from the Kuat Shipyards seemed to understand well enough. It wasn't the first time they've made repairs like these. Motioning then for all to follow him along with OS-479. Moving through the winding corridors and junctions of the ship until finally arriving at a part of the ship that ran power to the Sensor Array. From the previous event aboard the ship Dr. Holdan had siphoned power from different parts of the ship which blew out a lot of junctions and power couplings. Requiring replacement of the circuits and other internal hardware or simple re-coupling of cables. Not to mention all the mutan clone horrors that
  20.
  21. [15:12] Knox had been roaming about. Although this part of the ship had not been cursed by their presence unlike the Hangar and Bridge. Motioning with a swift gloved hand he'd begin directing them. "Begin your repairs, if there are materials required you will inform me and they shall be brought here. No one is allowed to leave until the job is done." After all he needed to keep them corralled until the job was finished. It is much easier that way than having to keep track individually. Turning now he'd give directions to Korin. "OS-479 you are to assist me in monitoring them and ensuring they do not attempt sabotage or espionage."
  22.
  23. [15:23] Rogan Royce (hakumen) would stand with his gun held against himself, in a relaxed position as he surveyed the number of engineers before them. As Darth Talon's Apprentice began to speak, his blue gaze would shift beneath the helmet to study the tools the men carried with them. A benefit of wearing the cumbersome helmet was that you could look just about anywhere without much notice. None of them seemed to be carrying anything they shouldn't but one could never be sure. As Lord Knox finished addressing the engineers, they began to file into lines as Knox bid them to follow after. Korin would lag behind, waiting until the last engineer was out of the room before coming up behind them, wanting to make certain that all of them men were within his line of sight at all times. Once they entered the core relay room for the sensor, Korin would look about appreciatively at the tell-tale signs of blown junctions and wires hanging haphazardly. The place was a kriffing mess. Scowling beneath his helmet, OS-479 would watch as the teams
  24.
  25. [15:23] Rogan Royce (hakumen): began to separate into their respective groupings at Lord Knoxs' orders before the man would turn to Korin himself. He would listen attentively as he was given his own orders and nod in affirmation as he looked around to the engineers. That explained why he was called in, he had served with the field of engineers when he had first started his military career. It made sense that he should be here to survey and watch them. With another nod, he would sound off another, "Yes Sir." Before beginning to move along the room, watching the engineers carefully.
  26.
  27. [15:41] Knox as time ticked away and soon seconds became minutes, and minutes became hours the repairs would be underway. At this point in time Knox had grown comfortable with the performance of the engineering team and would approach OS-479. His crimson visor gazing at him as he was examined in silence. It was an almost intimidating stare that showed his keen observation habits. Finally the silence would be broken as he begun to converse. "Where was it you trained OS-479? I do not recall having established an Imperial Academy on Corellia." Although he could be entirely wrong as he did not bother to learn of such an instillation on the world. Meanwhile the Engineers would still be working diligently as pieces had been removed which burnt out from the Doctors mad experiments. Removing the pieces and putting them aside while starting to add in the new pieces. The sparks of their tools could be seen as most of them began to fuse the new sections in.
  28.
  29. [15:54] Rogan Royce (hakumen) would watch a pair of engineers as they cut back some of the tubing on the wiring, and checking to make sure they could still carry a charge before rewiring the cabling and sealing it. It was only then that he felt a prickling sensation on the back of his neck, not to be confused with force sensitivity, but the familiar sensation of being watched. Looking up, he would turn to find Lord Knox watching him and would turn to give the Sith his full attention. "Sir, I was transferred over from my previous station as part of the accompanying troops and retinue to Darth Letum. As far as I'm aware, there is still no Imperial Academy on Corellia, Lord Knox." His gaze would shift slightly as he watched another team repairing a junction box, working diligently to remove the power cells and burnt out wiring. Lord Knox apparently had quite the effect on these men as they were working quite hard without even daring to look back at the ones overseeing their work.
  30.
  31. [16:13] Knox would listen intently as the Engineers did their job. Noting that they were doing so with a desire to be free of this room. As it had now unknowingly became their prison. They doubted that the ones they worked for would care if even one of them went missing. Though Knox was not the one to make unnecessary acts of violence unless they were required. Having grown since his initial introduction into the way of the Dark Side long ago. As OS-479 explained there was no Academy on Corellia Knox would make a note of that as his Master would want to correct this soon. When given the name Darth Letum it became clear that whatever Academy he was from it was not information he could acquire without asking Darth Letum. There was still a lot about the One Sith he did not understand yet but all of that would not matter for long to Knox. Nodding his head as he'd state, "I see, Darth Letum has some capable subordinates then. Though do not let these words inflate your ego. Just stick to your due diligence and carrying out Orders. Then you will need not fear reprisal." It wouldn't be long after this brief conversation that the Engineers were finishing up their work. Knox would turn to watch the final moments as the power couplings were connected and systems started to come online. The Sensor Relay was now drawing power and becoming operational. It was time to pack up and so Knox would state, "OS-479 it is time to pack up for the day. Ensure these Engineers take their equipment but leave all else where it lays. Escort them to the Hangar with no deviations from their route." It was Knox giving the soldier the lead as a reward to be the first one out this time. Knox would stick to the rear in case anyone would try anything suspicious. The Engineers of course overheard this Order and were thankful after so long to be going home.
  32.
  33. [16:32] Rogan Royce (hakumen) would simply nod at Darth Talon's , "I only do my part, sir. I joined to serve as needed." He would nod again at the Dark Lords words in regards to the inflation of ego, Korin was far too focused for such antics and ego. It was better left to those above his station as ego could get many killed in the field, they taught you at the academy that one needed to discard self and think only of the whole. Yet still, he was thankful for the Siths words of encouragement, and would turn back to look with the man as the Engineers began finishing up their work on the Sensor Relays, the sounds of thrumming power coming to life as the lights began to blink one by one. It seemed they had indeed taken Lord Knox to heart, and had done their best to complete their work. He would look back to the Sith as Korin was given the order to get them moving and he would nod again, "Yes sir." Marching over to the groups he would look over their work before giving them their orders, "It's time to leave, pack your equipment and move to the door." Korin moved from team to team, making certain that they did as instructed and making certain that they left nothing behind that might threaten the state of the Sensor after so much hard work. Once every group made it to the door, he would walk back over Lord Knox, "Sir, they have their equipment as instructed. I'll move them out now as per your orders." He would give the Sith a sharp salute before turning and herding the Engineers back to the hanger.
  34.
  35. [16:41] Knox watched as OS-479 carried out his orders to the letter. Knox having some history as a trooper from a long long time ago knew what it was like. Respecting the front line troops compared to those who'd stay to the rear. Yet this time he'd let the Soldier lead the Engineers to their destination like he wanted. The Engineers were nervous but also relieved to be going home now. As they went through the winding corridors and junctions once more they'd finally arrive at the Hangar. Their shuttle as well as Knox's was ready to depart when ready. Waiting for everyone of the Engineers to board theirs and depart before finally getting into his own. The pilots had been waiting patiently on stand-by though no doubt bored as hell. Eager to get back to their barracks and enjoy some measure of comfort. After everyone would be aboard the shuttle would lift its ramp and move out of the Hangar. Upon exiting to the vacuum of space the fins would lower and extend then off they went. Taking the path behind the Engineers shuttle like previously. Once they were clear of the Maw's hazardous space they'd make the Jump to hyperspace back to Corellia.
