  1. To make the ruling for emulated runs of Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters as fair as possible, certain settings and rules need to be in place in order to create an even playing field for both PSP and EMU runners. The rules are as followed:

  3. *Timing rules for all categories*
  4. -Timing will start: The first available frame of movement
  5. -Timing will end: When the screen fade to black after defeating Otto Destruct
  6.  
  7. *Any%*
  8. -Beat the game as fast as possible from a new save file
  9. -File Manipulation is not allowed
  10.  
  11. *NG+ Any%*
  12. -Beat the game as fast as possible in Challenge mode.
  13. -File Manipulation is not allowed
  14.  
  15. *NG+ Warp%
  16. -Beat the game as fast as possible in Challenge mode.
  17. -File Manipulation is allowed
  18.  
  19. *for ATB runs*
  20. -Collect all 20 Titanium Bolts before defeating Otto Destruct
  21. -File Manipulation is not allowed
  22.  
  23. *for 100% runs*
  24. -collect all 20 Titanium Bolts
  25. -Collect all armor suits
  26. -collect all Skill points
  27. -upgrade every weapon to Titan Lv.4 with every single Slim Cognito weapon mod
  28. -File Manipulation is not allowed
  29.  
  30. *for Emulated runners only*
  31. -Due to faster overall loading and the lack of a critical lag area on the Remains of M.O.O., all emulated times will have a 10 second penalty added to all runs to compensate.
  32. -You must use either PPSSPP 1.3 or 1.4.2
  33. -You may NOT use any outside programs or unintended binds to enhance your run
  34. -The only accepted bind would be binding L and R to the Right analog stick for players used to using two analog sticks.
  35. -You MUST show your frame rate counter in your run
  36. -You MAY use any video settings that help your computer run the game at 30FPS, but no run may go above the 32FPS threshold
  37. -All Hack Settings under Graphics and NOT ALLOWED
  38. -You may NOT use Fast memory
  39. -Any use of a Save state anywhere in the run will DISQUALIFY your run
  40. -File Manipulation is not allowed
