- Once again, the fight was over just at it had started.
- One found themselves slumped on the ground, while Mital stood strong. Staring down his nose at the other as he advanced onto them, hoisting up his weapon onto his shoulder.
- "You come here.." A slight pause, his voice raising slightly as he gave a wave of his hand. The 'world' so to speak around his body warping, lifting the Huatli up into the air.
- "You parade yourself as someone who has rebuilt this place. No, no, no..."
- "We did it! Us! The Chieftains! We took what was rubble into our own hands and built it back up. We gave our lives to Gehenna since the age of thirteen. Running it, making sure you have a place to be. A place where you can be free. And now?"
- Reaching out, a clawed hand wrapped tightly around the Nagual's arm..
- "And now you want to see that all go to waste. You want to see my<i/> hard work reduced to nothing because you're antsy. Because you think you're capable of attacking our enemies. Because you're too full of yourself to understand why we should wait."
- Right now, it was a bit hard for him to control himself with Ixchel's essence flowing through him. Something deep inside of him, a hunger telling him to feast. And so, he'd feast. Without warning, that grasp around Huatli's wrist tightened before the Chieftain yanked at the arm; bones cracking, fleshing tearing, and blood spilling as the arm was ripped free from his body in one go. Only for it to be raised so that the Chieftain could take a bite from it, chomping down on flesh as he stared down at the Nagual.
- Not caring that others were watching him.

- Had seen only black for a moment, then the feeling of lightness, then there was sounds. Talking, he focused on that part filtering in and out. Talk of us and hard work, words of pride. Words the warrior would normally have rallied behind. Blinking he'd come to for a moment his eyes no longer the gold orbs of Ixhel's coat but the smoky gaze he'd always had.
- He'd feel the tear, only after he saw his limb removed, that's when the pain flared through his body. It coursed like lightening through the veins, every nerve ablaze with activity, with pain. He'd fight to stay consciousness, not willing to escape into that dark void again. Though he was no godling, and though consciousness remained his, he could not speak through the pain. Least he risk his voice faltering. He'd simply cast his gaze to the Chief, his smoky orbs watching. Every moment burned into his retina.

- Scene shift to a Hospital
- Blue eyes would sweep across the room, seeing everyone seemed content and caught up he'd move on. "Alright! Time to move on to the next section, you have a couple steps before you can actually begin treating the injury.
- So let's get the basics out of the way. Always clean and sanitize the area before working on it. This can be done with sterilized water, clean rags, steam, or if ya got it on hand, vodka." He points at each which are listed on the board. Then turns to Tototl with a big grin, it was the only reason he had a bottle in his house that night they drank with Israa and made fools of themselves in the square. He'd then go on to explain why Vodka worked best as opposed to other alcohols.
- "It has to be vodka because it is the only alcohol that is pure and thoroughly distilled enough to actively clean a wound. Beer and Sake contains hopps which you don't want to get in a wound. Wine coming from grapes contains a lot of sugar, which would make the surrounding area sticky and unpleasant to work with." He'd turn and look at the board again for reference, pressing a finger against his lips.
- "Always make sure the tools you're using are clean. You don't want to cause a cross infection from anything that's already been used. And more serious injuries can be caused by mixing two different blood types. Not to mention it could lead to infection. If a scalpel or knife that you're using is rusty, don't use it." This section was much shorter than anticipated, so the blonde doctor would fluff it up a bit more.
- "You can always take the time while cleaning the wound of debris and other gunk to start planning how you plan to go about treating the injury, there are many crazy circumstances that will require unusual methods to treat, but we will go over that in another section." Snapping his finger, he'd remember another point.
- "Sometimes! When treating an injury, you will have to make it a little worse before you can start making it better. An example, burns where the tissue is too far charred to regrow, you'll have to cut that out so living tissue can take it's place and regrow. This also works for decaying tissue, as well as mangled limbs where you have to prep for a solid anchoring point for a prosthetic. The specific techniques for that will also be covered in a bit." He'll look across the class again, noticing how the clinic had suddenly grown drastically in population. He'd look between all his friends with a look of concern.
- "Everything alright?"

- Kilarii walks in, carrying a VERY injured-looking Huatli in her arms. Despite the man's weight, she handles him with no problems. She lays him on a bed, motioning Sugarboy over.
- She stares at the leather chestplate that Huatli's wearing. The crystal that it has embedded into it... a mark of her work. A mark of something SHE'S created. The sheathed Mythril blade, too. She'd made both of them, and he was going to use them to go to a war that he couldn't win. He was going to, by getting himself killed, GIVE OVER the powerful weapons and armour to hated enemies.
- It was so reckless, so disgusting to Kilarii, that she could think of nothing except immediately taking the sword and the armour away from him. So, she does exactly that, placing them both into her bag after a bit of effort in getting them off him. She scowls at Huatli. Yes, she felt sorry for him for the injury that he had sustained. However, she can't help but feel he deserves it. Just a little bit.
- (Kilarii)
- Was by no means dead, nor unaware of the event taking place. Though he knew his arm was best used staunching the blood flow of his severed limb. His hand limply shifted to grab the crafter's wrist. It was a weak grab, with little strength. His grey bloodshot gaze locked onto the crafter as a hoarse whisper that would surely have been a shout slid through clenched teeth.
- "Theif. . ."
- (Huatli Khan)
- Watched the very weapons and armor he'd asked to be crafted put back near him. Yes, he'd fully intended to use them to wage war. That was the reason the Nagual existed, war. The eternal war against the betrayer, it'd been his destiny since before his line came into existence. Yet, he was to tired to speak about such things. Instead he shifted his gaze away towards those who'd aid him.
- Leaning up he'd grit hiss teeth, he wasn't just a dumb brute who had only a blade to offer his tribe. With a free hand he reached into a small pocket sewn into his pants, from within it he pulled a corked bottle of Vodka. Kept for the sterilizing of wounds. He brought the cork to his filled teeth, biting into it, pulling it free. With a shaky hand he poured the vodka liberally over his bloody stump. Where it not for the thick fur of Ixhel's coat the sight of a quickly paling man would be enough to show the effects of blood lose.
- His gaze shifted past the others to Sugarboy, his teeth separated enough so he could speak.
- "Burn it or graft on a prosthetic, just stop staring at it."
- (Huatli Khan)
- The blonde doctor would nod, placing a hand on the desk infront of him, he'd hop over it and would rush to Hautli's side. He'd just notice the renowned Kitsune off to the side, when the hell did she get here?
- "Oh, Hellow Lady Satsuki, it's an honor to have you here in my clinic." He'd say flashing her a smile before working on the patient.
- "Alright students, gather around, spirits have blessed us with a valuable educational opportunity!" He'd announce optimistically. He had heard Mital's threat, but he really didn't pay it that much stock.
- It was normally at this point when he saw a friend hurt he was about to operate on he would sink into a cold, hyper-focused state, but his wife had spoken to him about it, how he shouldn't distance himself from his patients in such a way.
- "Don't worry, Hautli, we'll get you patched up and eventually we'll get strong enough to take that lich's head together, eh?" He'd say calmly and kindly.
- The injury was nasty, as if it were just ripped off with the Chief's bare teeth, flesh shredded and bone cracked. He'd turn to Kilarii, "I'm going to need a trauma kit made, do you think you can do that for me? I'll pay afterwards, I promise." He'd ask as he started forcing the blood from the stump to coagulate using his magic.
- (Sugarboy)
- The doctor would simply nod to his patient, understanding. He'd then continue his lesson aloud as he reached for the implements he'd need for the surgery.
- "First step in am amputation is to stop the bleeding. I'm using my hemomancy to do so currently, but this can also be achieved with a tourniquet. A strong piece of cordage you tie a good couple of inches above the injury to stop bloodflow. It can also be used for poisons to stop it from spreading throughout the bloodstream, however you have to be very careful using it, as you can rupture blood vessels and cause more harm than good. Poisons it's normally better to just rush them to a doctor as soon as possible to use antivenom or remove it from their system." He found himself more lucid for this surgery than normal, was it the large audience? Or was it because of the talk he and Euyitl had. Not to worry on that now.
- Holy water would envelope the wound and begin cleaning it of bacteria, dirt, and any dried blood, doubling as a small anesthetic as a soothing sensation washed throughout what was left of the Nagual's arm.
- "I'm simultaneously cleaning and applying a numbing solution. If you don't have the magic for this, you'll need a rag and clean water, as well as having to find an anesthetic for the patient's comfort so they don't go into shock." He had literally just gone over this in his lesson, adding new information about patient's comfort.
- With a knife he would begin cutting away at mangled flesh that was unsalvageable, preparing the muscles and nerves for the implant, and sawing away at the bone so he would have a solid anchoring point for the prosthetic.
- (Sugarboy)
- "Perfect timing, Kilarii~" He'd say with a smile as he opened the box and took the mithril arm out. The stump had been thoroughly prepped for the application, and now it was time to ready the arm.
- He'd undo a few bolts and screws as lengths of the arm came apart. He'd compare it to the nagual's other arm, adjusting the measurements to match before tightening them down. It was sort of an unnecessary step, but he was a little bit of a perfectionist, and it would help with the physical therapy is the arm was as close to the original as possible.
- He'd then pull out a hollow shaft from the arm and it would fit snuggly over what was left Hautli's bone, pinning it into place. Wires made of orichalcum would be pulled from the prosthetic's opening and he would begin twisting them to muscle groups and nerve endings, crimping them down with a special tool that came with the kit. Veins would be reworked and cauterized to allow the blood flow to be redirected back into his system, effectively closing it. The next step was reworking the muscles around the mithril-bone attachment, providing not just padding for the prosthetic, but allowing it to be used as a normal arm.
- Once all of the innerds to the faux arm was attached and organized, Sugarboy would pull up the sleeve of mithril over the stump until it went well over the skin of his upper arm. With a snap of his fingers, a small flame would be emitted and he would begin cauterizing the flesh to the mithril skin, effectively welding them together.
- The procedure would be complete, and he realized once again he became a little to focused on the procedure and stopped teaching. He'd look over to everyone and ask, "Uhh.. Any questions about what I just did?"
